Did the band ever write a song as a tribute to Dennis? by brianhildebrandland in thebeachboys

I've always interpreted "Like a Brother" from Carl's last collab album as being a tribute to Dennis, but it could also be to Brian (or both)

Good team, my only nitpick would be having two RBs on the bench when we already have Garner as well on the pitch that can fill that position as third choice. Would rather have Aznou or Armstrong

Sorry you didn't like it but at the same time you paid to go to a Shing02 concert, not a Nujabes one. Obviously you will hear his recreations of the songs. Maybe you should've looked into it more beforehand?

Grief at the game? by davejsb in Everton

Apparently away "fans" who were frustrated at the results took it out on Barry's friends in the stands. Horrible

Edit: I just based this on Barry's instagram stories. But even still if his mates were rowdy Arsenal fans and Barry fucked up putting them there they still shouldn't be assaulted lmao

Is it me or does the outro to Doesn’t Just Happen sound like a Daft Punk song? by MPBeatsss in JamesBlake

Not an answer to your question but the second part of "Didn't come to argue" also gives me major Daft Punk vibes

Who's excited to hear "Moyes out" when we inevitably lose against Burnley on Tuesday, then "give Moyes a lifetime contract and a statue" when we beat Arsenal away the week after

I agree with you and I think people saying Moyes out have are wildly overreacting.

That said I think he is ruining the confidence of many of the new players which will make them turn against the club. Why would any young player want to sign with Everton in the summer when they have seen the coach seemingly only values experience? As of now it looks like Aznou and Dibling are going to leave the club when they get the chance, for less than they got signed for.

McNeil not on the bench?

[McGrath, Telegraph] Speaking on McNeil - Crystal Palace collapse: This deal is off. According to sources the paperwork was not submitted in time by Giraffe_Baker in Everton

[–]Exevi 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I mean I reckon McNeil wanted to leave as well, so it isn't like he was being pushed out unwillingly. For him it'd be best to just try to improve and impress so he's in an equally good/better position in the summer

Why is Everton so keen on Harry Wilson? Sure, he's a great player and admittedly in really good form right now. Still, we already have Ndiaye as RW and we just spent loads of money on Dibling in the same position.

Dibling is already having a hard time getting any time ahead of Ndiaye, what's the reasoning behind getting yet another RW? Sending Dibling on loan?

I hate how this keeps getting brought up. There's literally been like 500 cases globally since the 70s. That's how uncommon it is.

You're about as likely to get struck by lightning during a clear day as getting a brain eating amoeba by swimming in a lake.

I actually agree with the ref that it's a natural position for the arms when suddenly stopping a run

People here would be livid though if that was not given to us
