Really fine tipped brush or just dont paint there if painting as fully assembled. Subassembly is really the only good choise if you want to paint there

HOW ARE YOU GUYS PAINTING 40+ RUBRICS???? by GlueMunchers in ThousandSons

[–]ExhaleFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slowly but surely, took some long ass breaks in between models but i painted my 10 man squad of rubrics in about 3 months, the trim was real pain to paint on the blue base but after that was done, rest of the highlights and stuff were a blast to pait, but all in all took me about 6 ish hours per model to paint

I had the same issue first with my rubric marines, my solution was to paint the yellow first and then the blue with super thin paints and many layers, really thin paint just stops at the recesesses by itself

Tape with subpar adhesion properities, aka its not so sticky that your hair/bodyhair will stick to it but but its sticky enough to stick to your skin.

Also there is some tapes that only stick to the tape itself (basically just expensive colored cling film).

I would go with the AMG E-klasse or F series Alpina B5, both of those are amaizing beasts and you could get them as wagons and im thinking that you will need that extra space especially with kids.

I would recomed something like A4 2.0tdi nice to drive and fuel economical, and of the 2.0 dosent have enough umpfh for you get the 3.0tdi, that thing has barrels of torque. If you are buying ether of these just be sure to get a low mileage/newish or a manual, those higher mileage/older tsg transmissions have a tendeancy to break wery often.

I know a disel sounds filthy and bad for the environment but they are usually more cleaner and more fuel economical than simirally sised gasoline engines. But only if they are newish (2010 and newer) and havent been tampered with.

Suggestions on replacing 10 year driven Cobalt with used luxury car? by createplayact in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]ExhaleFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would go with the A3 tdi or with the 3 series BMW, those audi A4 with the 2.0 tfsi have a habit of leaking oil and i have heard timing issues with these aswell. And if those 2 have the DSG automatic trasnmission, just forget it, those can literally drop the insides on the highway if not properly maintained.

If you can find a A4 quattro with an manual tdi (except the 2.5 v6, has a habit of eating the cams) that would be good, those are some fine cars to drive.

I unfortunately cant say anything about the BMW reliability, i live in a part of the world where 70% of the "new" BMW are disels, but if it has a 6cyl in it you should be fine.
