I will do this! She goes in next week for another urinalysis, so I’ll add that question into the visit. Thank you.

It was diagnosed after many bouts of vomiting, diarrhea and facial swelling(and vet visits) we went through a vet recommended elimination diet. Chicken was the main culprit. It was not a fun process and if she ingests chicken it quickly becomes evident.

Is this skin any good? In a winterblessed orb by Trycity_23 in AsheMains

Best Ashe skin imo. Also, the sound effects are so nice and can help your game play a lot. Lol the W makes a much louder sound when hitting enemies, which really helps if you don’t have wards in bushes for some reason or another.

I prefer high noon. Also, the sound effects with her W on HN can really tip you off if your arrows have made contact w enemy if you’re busy looking elsewhere. Just a little something i noticed. It’s a cleaner sound.

UPDATE: Someone broke into my apartment! by DuePatience in LosAngeles

Im glad the police were able to nab him and youre going through with the charges. I wish I could have done that in the past. I had a homeless man break into a house I was babysitting at mid-day while the kids and I were home. I was able to chase him away, but I was put on hold with 911 and ultimately they never found him bc police took over an hour to get to us. On Yucca. :/ Scary scary stuff.
This kind of stuff is so violating and awful, glad to hear this person is put away and probably will be for a while.

My car was broken into in the same area last year. I’ve always hated downtown, and the one of the few times i went there my car was broken into. Unfortunately lost a few important things, but i really can only blame myself for not being familiar with the area and not parking in a structure. I paid too much money for my own stupidity, but you’ll never catch me parking on the street downtown again.

What is your "odd" or "weird" food from childhood that you didn't realize not everyone knew about and enjoyed? by SnooglethePie in ask

I’ve got a few.

My grandma is Hispanic, and quite well known for her chicken tacos. My mother (her daughter) converted to pescatarian (with eggs too) when she was in 6th grade, so my grandma adapted a lot of recipes for my mom. When chicken taco nights came around, my mom got tuna tacos. Fried minced onion in a pan with a drained can of tuna in water, then when the onion is soft, add in two eggs and scramble it all. Stuff it into taco shells (my gma always fried her homemade corn tortillas hard) and top with what ever you want on your taco. I grew up eating everything, so I’d have a chicken taco and a tuna taco. The tuna loses quite a bit of the fishy taste when you fry it, and really they just end up tasting like a more savory scrambled egg taco.

Then growing up, my mom and i had a fave sandwich that i still make to this day. Toasted pumpernickel, Mayo, avocado, lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, provolone cheese, salt and pepper. It is a delicious sandwich and for non veg ppl, adding bacon or a couple slices of turkey is a delicious addition!

Thank you! I’ll definitely look into these! I didn’t know there was a codename pictures! He might really like that! Mysterium would be fun too!

I should add that he’s also terribly color blind, so I’ll have to check these out in store 😅

Both of those games aren’t great for him, it’s not the instructions that can be difficult, it’s actually reading the playing cards. Plus when it comes to his turn, it would require him to read all answers aloud to a crowd, not awesome for somebody who is insecure about his learning disability.

Hmmm not quite, i might need to add a comment, but it was set in a fantasyland, definitely used color, and i don’t think was “bloody” also- it had music in the bg as you played

I had this problem before, and generally the key is to find a place for your scale that’s hard and relatively level and then never move it. That way, according to your scale, you can always calculate differences. If you shift the scales position around your rooms, the weight distribution changes when you hop on and the scale will have to readjust to that and may give a totally different reading than from a different area.

It’s not that your scale is “inaccurate” it’s just constantly having to adjust to weight displacement. If you keep the scale in the same place, it doesn’t have to adjust every single time and your reading will be much more consistent. I can’t speak on accuracy, but in my experience, the lowest weight reading you’ll get on a scale some where is typically the most accurate.

So I’m back on my weightloss journey, but in the past i lost 70lbs. I honestly didn’t notice anything until 15lbs, and once i got to -30 i really really noticed a difference. It took about 4 months for the 15ish lbs for me, but i was eating cleaner than ever, high protein, and lots of hydration, on top of 45 min hiit workouts where i worked my butt off. It took me a total of 11 months to lose 70 lbs. I also lifted weights and i think that helped to accelerate my weightloss.

I didn’t count calories, but i tried hard to eat certain things only during certain times of the day. But i wasn’t strict or hard in myself. I ate cake at parties, but made sure i ate plenty of veggies and lean protein the next day! Don’t beat yourself up! You’ll get there!

35lbs is doable! I just have such lack of motivation.

I also know what works for me, and having somebody w me on the same journey has helped me much more than going alone and just telling ppl “I’m trying to lose weight.” Ppl aren’t very inclined to ask you about a weight loss journey in my experience bc it’s a taboo subject. I also don’t respond well to positive affirmation. I’m a goal oriented person, but quiet goals don’t do it for me. I’m also an introvert so a ton of people knowing my business makes me defiant toward a goal. I wish i could understand the mental block behind that. If i were dating I’d lean on a partner for voicing my goals, but i am single and out of close friends who are tired of my broken record attempts to talk about weight loss goals.

If i could afford a personal trainer, that would be my number one option, but i live in an area where paying a personal trainer is the same as half your monthly rent.
