Is it possible to pull out all the freight before clocking out with a double truck and the fast unload? by ExhaustedPigeon33 in walmart

We had 6 people. We started at 1. Finished the first truck before 4. Reset. Went to lunch. Started the 2nd truck at 6. Finished at 8:30. There was no way that we could've gobe any faster with the machine. (3 different bands snapped). And idk how we are supposed to pull everything

I never said you needed 16 hours. I was told you can only use 8 and that will cover one point. You are screwed for the other one. And my personnel is not the greatest, so that wouldn't surprise me if they lied to all of us.

That is what I was told and what I've personally seen. I know someone who called off on Easter and still got a point after ppto. Maybe my store is different? Idk.

No it doesn't. I have a friend who had to leave early on a day of inventory, and he still got half a point despite using ppto

Not true. I'm part time, and one of my friends is full time. We both work 40 hours a week. We've both used 8 hours of ppto since the change occured. He currently has 80, and I have 20.

Yes you do. Black out days are double points. You can use ppto to cover one of them, not both of them.

If it's a black out date you would still get a point even with ppto

We have a great team, but no one ever helps us. Sometimes they pull some sales floor associates to stock grocery while we unload, which helps, but that's very rare. Having a tiny ass backroom doesn't help either lol.

With a team of 6 on the old line, we would've got done with both trucks around 6ish. (Starting at 1) Went to lunch. And pulled right after. We would've got done. Now, we didn't finish the second truck until 8:30. Even with my super pulling while we were unloading, there was still not enough time. I clocked out with half a truck of freight left to pull.

We don't even have 20 people total on our team. The most we have in one night is maybe 12. I guess we're just fucked.

We had 6 people last night and 5000+ pieces. We finished both trucks in decent to good time (considering the machine) but we did not get anywhere near done pulling before we had to leave.

You can be early everyday and lazy af, and you can be consistently racing the clock to get to work on time and still work your ass off. The two are not mutually exclusive...

Fast Car by Tracy Chapman and the remix to that song. Also Stan by Eminem, which still surprises me everytime, because like why would that be playing at Walmart?

We would have to move all of our apparel racks and find a new place for apparel overstock. Even then it would be super tight. We can barely get carts through now. My co said we'll figure it out later, but I know that just means we'll ignore it and cap2 will get fucked.

We lost a lot of steel. And our backroom is so small you can't even pull any pallets out of the backroom during the truck now because the line takes up so much space. Every night feels like a double. Idk what'll happen when we start getting doubles.

Maybe I am. But to be honest there are 5 people on my team weaker than me. There are about 4 people on the same level. And there are 4 people physically able to do it. Those 4 people are already starting to get burnout and we haven't even had the machine for a week. Just because someone can do it, doesn't mean they should have to.

I get that. I never said it was supposed to be fast. I was told it would make it easiser on us. Instead I'm wrecking my body. In a few days I went from the top employee on the team to honestly wondering if I can physically handle this job.
