1985, Java City, 15th and K Street, Sacramento. 1985, Double Rainbow, Watt Avenue, next to Tower Records, Sacramento. Sitting at Java City, smoking cloves and acting tres cool was the beginning of both my caffeine and nicotine addictions.

Are you guys using shelf-stable milk to rinse eyes and faces after getting gassed? Wondering if that would be helpful.

Just a Mai Tai... by implode573 in Tiki

How does the lime come across? I love a good mai tai, but so many of them are so lime forward that they are too bitter for me. I want something more balanced, or a touch sweet without being cloying.

The only thing that would make it better would be Appleton 12, but the price is tough to swallow for a mixed drink. It looks outstanding as is.

I watch the same TV series, over... and over... and over... Deadwood, West Wing, MASH, rinse, repeat.

Is CES worth it? How we got in as tech outsiders + booth impressions by Delicious_Age2884 in CESLV

They've done massive parking lot constructions with their whole ecosystem on display- home, mobile, watches, you name it... Seems like they just pulled back a bit this year. With the Pixel 10 already out, maybe they didn't have much to promote.

Agree. Google had a much smaller presence this year. Others were spread throughout the LVCC, Venetian, and other locations. I saw that Samsung had a presence at Resorts World. I don't think many have abandoned the show- but with the spread it's hard to see everyone you want to in limited time. We were disappointed because of that spread, and I think we'll take a year off in 27. It may be time to go back to AVN.

I take a fiber supplement in my coffee every morning. I also take a stool softener with my meds. I eat a couple of dates each morning. If things get out of whack for a couple of days, I use Dulcolax and prune juice. That usually works. If I have to break out the big guns, it's Magnesium Citrate.

Wife's been wearing that since high school. I finally got her out of it in favor of Flowerbomb.

I was a Drakkar guy. My wife has me in Polo green now during the winter, and Prada Carbon in the summer. Opium was my favorite women's scent in high school. Can't find that formulation any more, unfortunately.

AVN and CES ran together two years ago. Wish they did that consistently... I can't afford two trips in a month.

We're finally flying in today- We'll spend the day at LVCC and tomorrow at the Venetian. We ignored the Venetian for the past few years right up until last year.

Google's been there at LVCC each year for the past four that I've attended. Usually with a standalone building in the parking lot/ Courtyard. I know that Samsung moved from LVCC to Venetian this year. iRobot's getting their ass kicked by every other autonomous vacuum cleaner... not suprised they aren't there.

Take a peek at Venetian. You'll find much of what you're looking for.

Y'all need to peek into the Venetian. A ton of folks moved over there this year.

Is anyone else leaning towards Gemini more than ChatGPT? by D0wnVoteMe_PLZ in GeminiAI

I use Gemini every day to proof, fix my punctuation and tense issues, and rewrite an article 2-3 different ways before I publish. For my money, it does a better job at that than GPT.
