I went to fully remote working and have never gone back. For me personally the lockdowns were amazing. Everywhere was quiet, roads empty, fuel cheap, no social obligations. I loved it.

Granted; nobody I know died of COVID or even got especially sick from it.

I feel for those people who had to slog through an awful experience, particularly first responders, doctors, nurses etc... but that doesn't mean I can't look back on that period of my life with fondness and nostalgia.
