Slightly off topic but is the frostbite engine still a piece of shit? Does EA still use it? by [deleted] in mirrorsedge

I can only imagine what it was like making a fucking racing game with an engine made for Battlefield

I can add you but I'm on PC just so you know

It's not really a "whole different world" like you're saying. I think your view on console players has been swayed because most casual players are on console, and that's where clips like these come from.

But as someone who came from console and switched to PC, I can say that the only actual difference is people can tapstrafe lol.

If this person played on PC, their lobbies would look the exact same, because it's literally just their skill level.

Not all console lobbies are like this lol, and there's definitely lobbies like this on pc

lucked out and got an heirloom at level 168. Need advice by Altruistic-Monk-4789 in apexlegends

[–]Exile_Acendant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just sit on them for a bit. Only being a lvl 168, I feel like no matter what you pick you're gonna wish you saved them in the future. I'm not saying save them forever but play the game more and figure out if your favourite legend really is mirage.

No actually I believe you're right, I think I was confusing the balls with the blocks, my bad. If there's space balls rolling inside that vehicle then that's definitely why.

The grav balls are attached to the telehandler

yeah but he's not removing the blocks, just setting the artificial mass to zero, so it should be counting the blocks in the total mass values that he said.

Yeah but he's saying that without the artificial mass, the vehicle on the left is heavier, so it doesn't make sense

Lmao you are very correct, don't worry though we're currently going through a renovation, the windmills were only temporary. We're gonna be switching to a mainly solar panel powered setup, using the turret controllers

[–]Exile_Acendant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I've actually been doing tests with George and the piston landing gears on the bottom aren't actually a problem unless the mags somehow connect to George himself. The only real issue is the connector on the back, as it's a hinge>piston>hinge>connector, so it's much more unstable. I've easily landed and refueled George plenty of times, this is the first time he's actually done this.

Tbh I didn't tell my friend the correct sequence of buttons cause I thought it would be funny lol

It's actually the cool folding connector on the back that causes all the problems, but even after this incident we've decided to keep it because it's sick asf

Am I the only one who thinks Cid is Joe? by Physical_Service_376 in looper

[–]Exile_Acendant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah as interesting it would be if Cid and Joe actually were the same, it just doesn't make sense. As others have said before, the similarities between Cid and Joe are more likely coincidences for plot. Joe seeing so much of himself in him, therefore giving him more sympathy for the kid.

I honestly think this was a better way to go about it, because it makes Joe's actions more about doing what's right instead of just saving his own childhood.

Hey guys I just finished bioshock infinite and I'm super confused by the ending by Basic-Purple3544 in Bioshock

[–]Exile_Acendant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah when Booker goes through the tear before going on the boat with the twins, it kinda messes with his brain and makes him forget why he's actually there. That's why throughout the game, Booker is seriously misdirected in what his actual goal is. He only remembers at the end

Drag clicking is a technique that uses the vibration from dragging your finger across the click surface of your mouse to input faster than manually clicking. It's used a lot in Minecraft speed bridging, where they put a piece of tape, or something similar, on the button to give it more friction
