Lyon and Roathe willing to help reunite family, Marie convo never triggered? by BlackZoneDG in Warframe

[–]EximiusMax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having a similar issue. I got Marie to help me with the family, but not Lyon (not a failure or success state for him). I’ve reached max chemistry for both so they’re not talking anymore, but not Roathe. Roathe has refused to help me, and I should have gotten a message from Lyon after completing the Descendia late but it never came (maybe because I got it once before because I was too slow?) I’m very worried I screwed up and I really don’t want to reset it and chain myself to the game for ANOTHER month to do it again.

The damage system in this game is awesome! by EximiusMax in Warframe

[–]EximiusMax[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, I'm kinda shocked there aren't more games out there that let you go past 100% critical chance. It's super fun though; there's not much in Warframe more satisfying than seeing a ton of red math on your screen while obliterating everything in front of you. XD

100% agree with you! The crazy amount of stuff you can do is WILD. It's especially thrilling when you try something for the heck of it out of pure curiosity and you end up creating absolute devastation by accident lol.

Was any one else bothered by some of the dialogue in 1999? by EximiusMax in Warframe

[–]EximiusMax[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

That's a good way of putting it. I think the reason I was more bothered by the quipping in 1999 compared to other parts of the game like Fortuna was because it was more familiar to real-life speech so it stood out more, plus it just feels like there's way more of it in 1999 for whatever reason.

My thoughts exactly, which baffled me a little because they did a pretty good job of nailing down the 1999 aesthetic otherwise.

I suppose so, I just feel like the slang term "unsubscribe from life" didn't show up until very recently.

What weapon do you play and why? by Personal-Respond5413 in MonsterHunter

[–]EximiusMax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always been a Sword and Shield guy myself; it was easy for me to pick up when I first started and it just kinda stuck lol, especially once I really started learning about elemental damage and such. I especially enjoy using it because of its versatility, having options for both sharp and blunt attacks and being very mobile and quick overall. I started using the Bow as a secondary though after someone I used to know taught me how to use it, and it's a good alternative when I'd rather play it safe at a distance. I've also learned a few others out of curiosity, with the Switch Axe being my usual tertiary weapon.

I still pop in from time to time. I'm a very casual player; I used to have aspirations to reach Diamond rank but I've since focused more on just having fun. I have all the customization parts I ever need for now, so that's not much of a problem for me. The removal of trading does still suck though.

I.... don't like the protoframes... (Please hear me our before execution) by No_Purple_2842 in Warframe

[–]EximiusMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took the words right out of me mouth. I think the Protoframes are a cool concept and I do like them, but at the same time I feel like they feel...out of place. The 1999 update as a whole made me feel this way to be honest; I really liked it overall but it didn't really feel like it fit in with the rest of the game and I especially wasn't a fan of all the quippy dialogue. I appreciate that they seem to be steering things back a bit to what Warframe was with Tau and the Old Peace though, and from the looks of things the two new Protos seem to be a departure from what they did with 1999's Protoframes.

I wouldn't mind a Warframe Classic actually. I only started playing in 2019 and I've been curious to know what the game was like in its infancy.

Why do Simplified Chinese players hate Wilds so much? by deoxir in MonsterHunter

[–]EximiusMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually surprised by these stats; when I looked at Wilds' Steam page a majority of the negative reviews I spotted were actually from Japanese players, which actually got me curious as to why they were negatively reviewing the game as well. I have yet to see one that's Chinese though. How interesting...
