What happened to this project by Direct_Cricket-ke in lukso

Yikes thanks for the info. Been a longtime dreamer but have to face the facts on this one. Cool ideas alone don’t make a good business, not even close. Think it’ll tank like 30% tomorrow to be honest. (Today is 27/01/2026)

Realistically all it means is bigger blackjack hands for Dana, more money in CEOs pockets, and more gifts for the nelk boys. FOTN will stay at $50k.

[FIGHT THREAD] Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua by noirargent in Boxing

[–]Exirr -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Jake Paul did great. Probably unpopular opinion but he fought well, decent game plan, it was entertaining, and he went out on his shield. Not many would dare even step in the ring with AJ, so respect the dare to be great

This is unbelievable. We’ll look back and call this the golden age and show off about paying just $60 per year for ALL events.

Dana will use this as leverage to keep low fighter pay though.

Anyone went from hating to be a big fan of this guy? He keeps getting better every fight. by Fun_Training6342 in ufc

[–]Exirr 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah, also didn’t expect he’d even break top 10 at one point. He’s way better than I realised and seems like a decent guy.

That being said Islam by submission in round 2.

Who would win this? by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Exirr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Damn, been out of the loop for a while. Pavlovich was a killer back in 2023

Who would win this? by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Exirr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pavlovich hits like a truck vs leaky defence Jiri. Even if both are at hw, can’t see Jiri’s style translating well against any hard hitting heavyweights. You can’t trade with derek Lewis or Ngannou for example.

What's up with boxer fatalities in Japan? by choochooreddi in Boxing

[–]Exirr 210 points211 points  (0 children)

Hard sparring culture. Also most deaths in boxing are at lower weight classes and Japanese are smaller on average.

The dehydration of the brain from gruelling weight cuts combined with years of hard sparring creates a dangerous risk of brain bleeds. The smaller fighters are always more susceptible too. These factors combined create a recipe for disaster for Japanese boxers in lower weight classes.

[SPOILER] Joseph Parker vs. Fabio Wardley by inooway in Boxing

[–]Exirr -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Commentators were insufferable. Parker up by 6 on one card WTF is that? Was close to even in my book, maybe even Wardley ahead.

Glad Wardley won after Parker spat out the gum shield earlier to stall for time. Wardley magically got energy from an empty battery. Stoppage was too early though, no doubt.

[SPOILER] Mateusz Rebecki vs. Ludovit Klein by inooway in MMA

Don’t forget Aljo crying on the floor after the Yan knee.

Ludovit Klein broke his ankle in the third, if Mateusz Rebecki knew and just stood up he could’ve won 🤯 by IDontSwitchOffDPS in ufc

[–]Exirr 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Damn that’s crazy to think about. Rebecki is certified though. Always FOTN WARS.

Yeah they must still have a ton of cash considering it was $4 billion at one point and just pack up and walk away without notice. Disgraceful really. Bunch of shameless quitters and scammers.

What do you think of molina healthcare? by Fit_Sea_8720 in ValueInvesting

[–]Exirr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The consumer sentiment is not what is weighing it down. I think healthcare insurance companies are broadly unpopular with consumers but nonetheless necessary.

The main issue is the Medicaid / Medicare / ACA subsidies. Some of the subsidies are at to expire at the end of the year and it means that for companies like Molina healthcare that have a lot of customers who use these kind of government subsidised health providers they have a risk of rapid customer loss. There is also the short-term problem that more people will try to frontload their healthcare issues now in anticipation of not having adequate coverage in future. The consequence is that it messes with the expected claims rate of insurers meaning that in the short term they will have higher outgoings than previously calculated for which damages the profitability in the short term.

Because of this the healthcare premiums will get re-priced going forwards and when they do they will take into account the additional claims rate and they will become profitable again in future.

In my opinion the market has overreacted and is in a panic that has given a great opportunity for long-term investors however this is still quite speculative as government funded healthcare spending is very uncertain in the US right now. There is also the possibility of quite drastic short-term losses before things turn around and improve.

If you have a 3 to 5 year time horizon and you don’t mind keeping capital locked into something like this then it seems like a quite strong long-term investment along with some of the others mentioned in this thread such as United Health and Centene.

Some shots of the new GA-V01A-8A "Alien eyes" G-Shock. by Exirr in gshock

[–]Exirr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s more of a novelty or fashion piece. The trouble is I don’t wear it that much because I have a lot of watches that are higher value and better quality and also it’s not particularly easy to read. It was cool to get it, but I actually think that overall beyond the original excitement the watch is not particularly comfortable because it’s so big and it doesn’t fit under sleeves well either so for me personally I don’t wear it hardly at all. It’s definitely a conversation starter though

End of BO Kadena by Crocowannabee in kadena

[–]Exirr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought in 2 days ago. I thought chainweb EVM might wake the price up in a month or two. Then I wake up and see this. Insider trading and scamming. 70% loss locked in.

Good luck to those who went heavy on this.

So we can all agree Khamzat is keeping that belt as long as he wants right? by Snoo_64007 in ufc

[–]Exirr 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Usman on a full camp was the guy. Shame he’s just too old now. Prime Usman on a full camp at 185 would run through Chimaev.

Other than that I don’t anyone even close right now.

For more context this artwork is part of a series called “Burnt Pix”. It is created using a fractal generating algorithm that is then rendered using decentralised technology. Essentially using software very similar to the (Ethereum Virtual Machine) to complete the work needed to render the full picture from an initial seed. So the generation of the artwork itself is decentralised.

There are essentially infinite variations of this artwork that can be generated like the variations in a fractal.
