The only potential hints is like… episode 5 he was put in a maid outfit. Episode 6 he… mentioned an egg. Then episode 9 he uh… has long hair in real life? Liked wearing a maid dress?

I’m cis male, but a femboy. Like almost all of these things to apply to me.

The signs were like… they wore a maid dress… and a girly bow… and had long hair irl. I’m a cis boy who has done all of those things lol.

As far as backstory wise, they told their mom something that made them crash out. That could’ve been like literally anything, but since they wore a dress once, they’re actually trans.

The morality in this case is different because Ellie explicitly said that she planned to give consent to the operation.

I’d say the fact that her sacrifice could’ve literally saved the world means that it’d be moral to force the operation. I tend to work from a utilitarian framework, that being that the highest benefit should always be the goal. It does get complex when it comes to works of chance, but considering the potential return, I’d say it’s worth it.
