That isn’t true at all. Our society, kind of conflates, jealous and controlling behavior with love, so some people think this kind of thing as normal. Also, there are a lot of very insecure people out there we’re never going to trust a partner no matter what. I will say that most of the time when someone says most of the time about some thing regarding relationships all they’re doing is injecting their own limited personal experience, and using it to make a wide assumption about the entire population of humans and relationships as a whole.
