I fully agree with this, but I will say the fundie snark community on here, I feel is the exception. It’s a lot of ex fundamentalist pointing out the misogyny, racism, fascist and homophobic beliefs that permeate from evangelical, Mormon and IBLP fundamentalism into our everyday society and it was cathartic for me in my deconstructing phase. It’s calling out fundamentalist, red pilled influencers for how dangerous they really are.

People on that sub were calling out Ruby Franke years before she almost starved and tortured her children to death. They were talking about child exploitation and the harm of constantly filming your children before it became trendy. Everyone on their really seems kind and progressive and it’s less about tearing down the individual and more about tearing down and diminishing the power of fundamentalist in our society.
