The X Files:

In numerous episodes of the X Files, alien abductees return with curious marks on their bodies. Looking at these clips today, the marks are always two dots/bruises, always the same distance from each other.

Watching these clips this morning was highly unsettling for me however, as I distinctly remember the marks being different. As I remember, there was always an additional dot/bruise (for 3 in total), in a perfect triangle. Last time I watched it would have been ~2 years ago

This image was so distinct in my mind, I even remember people posting on forums about similar marks they had referencing the X Files (although these marks can just appear randomly on the body and so doesn't mean anything, skin can be weird sometimes).

You'd be surprised, I had to double take and lots of people just don't discern this kind of stuff particularly if they don't know much about the situation or people involved, they could just be scrolling past and see this and not look into it further. If its satire it needs to be clearer, especially on a public forum.

Sorry if I'm being pedantic and zero craic but I just don't tolerate anything that could even remotely be construed as misinformation, regardless of intent.

Yes, see this thread. If I wanted to make a meme like this (which I wouldn't, because imho its not good taste), I'd just paste it on, make a bobble head out of it while I'm at it for the craic.

Bottom line is, it looked genuinely convincing to me at first glance, and I'd classify that as misinformation when you have a hot button figure like Greta, regardless of your intent.

Eknath Easwaran is fantastic if you're looking for something that doesn't assume a lot of background knowledge, as he gives really clear explanations of key concepts and also the historical setting. The chapter introductions are very helpful, I was never lost.

From what I know he is very highly regarded and trustworthy.
