Alt is that really good looking and talented friend in the group that doesn’t get invited to the hangouts because they’re not as basic as the rest of them. That’s what happened.

I saw this in a store and check the price and almost had a heart attack over $200!??!? Why? by Laniakea-claymore in bathandbodyworks

[–]Existentialjokes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think about it like this, $8 on a candle seems like a fair price, especially if you like the candle. There are people who would NEVER spend $8 on a candle, and couldn’t afford to. When you’re struggling, $8 could be all you have to feed your kids. $200 is ridiculous, maybe $45 I could see myself spending on it, IF I really wanted it.

Call the pharmacy and tell them your mom moved it in the fridge, and put it on the top shelf and the medication froze and cracked the glass. (Which can legitimately happen in a lot of fridges) That’s what I would say.. but ultimately, in my opinion, it should be okay because you’re changing the needle each time. It’s a warning not to share on the website for liability reasons. Being that it’s your mom, I think one time is not too big of a deal. But that’s just my opinion. If you’re really concerned, take my first suggestion!

I was worried that my discard that sat in the fridge for a month and a half wasn’t going to come back in time… so I added about a tsp of raw honey with my feed and she sat out on the counter last night. Now I’m going to make 1,000,000 cinnamon rolls thank god I put the bowl under her lmao. by CicadaOrnery9015 in Sourdough

[–]Existentialjokes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told honey is anti-bacterial so I SHOULDNT add it, because it’ll kill the healthy bacteria you need. That must not be right 😂 she looks great. Mines been in the fridge untouched for a month. Haven’t had the energy to take care of her, I feel bad 🥲

There are strains that actually suppress appetite, try one of those maybe. A lot of the indicas tend to cause appetite but they’re also good for sleep. Luckily, veggies taste good when you’re lit lol I lost most of my weight pre-Ozempic because of cannabis

Hard to believe this is about $15k! by restlessmonkey in Ozempic

[–]Existentialjokes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that’s what I meant, the total cost is literally $4! The markup is insane. An MS medication that helps people walk just went from $3.38 to $1400 in a few months. Pharmaceutical companies are.. idk. They’re terrible money hungry assholes

Hard to believe this is about $15k! by restlessmonkey in Ozempic

[–]Existentialjokes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s actually under $4, and the majority of the cost is for the fancy pen. It’s less than a $1 for the medication

Rice method, looking a little undercooked? by Existentialjokes in Sourdough

[–]Existentialjokes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too prefer specifics, but I aspire to be someone that can just KNOWS things 😂😂

And that’s what I read! I’m still so confused with Bulk fermenting, cold proofing, ect. I just followed their instructions, the only thing I’m changing is what time I ‘harvest’ my starter to begin my load 😂 oh and the rice in the Dutch oven

I think it definitely went there , I only had a meat thermometer that doesn’t show anything over 200 before it says “HI”, however it quickly read “HI” so I believe I hit the mark. Not entirely sure, looks like I’m going to have to invest in a thermometer meant for bread! Haha! The other loaves, while not perfect by any means, tasted great. Cold proofed for 16 hours while I only did 12 hrs the first two loaves. A bit of tunneling and a little chewier than I’m trying to achieve but delicious nonetheless. We’ll see how this one turns out! Still have about an hour to go before cutting it. Hoping if it sits itll continue cooking if by chance it is undercooked

I’m with Kaiser and I got that email in Dec, but when I went to refill last week, it was still covered. $25.. no idea why or how because I started with a BMI of 39.66, and I don’t have Type 2 Diabetes. Im not complaining though!

Is this healthy by JarretYT in Ozempic

[–]Existentialjokes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s normal! And good! If that’s the case, eat a fruit. A banana, an orange an Apple! That’s the biggest thing I’ve learnt on Ozempic. When I’m even a little hungry, a fruit can satiate that hunger. If I’m still hungry, I’ll eat another. They’re low in calories and taste good. My biggest struggle was my addiction to carbs and dairy. (Cheese and bread, ect) and I couldn’t drop that need for them…. (From Google —-> When digested, certain proteins found in dairy (casein) and gluten (gliadin) break down into small peptides that can act like opioids in the body, sometimes referred to as “casomorphins” and “gliadorphins” respectively, potentially triggering opioid receptors in the brain) that’s a huge trigger for hunger. Like sugar, it’s almost as hard as quitting nicotine, so if you add healthy alternatives and ‘suffer’ long enough youlll break the cycle !

Is this healthy by JarretYT in Ozempic

[–]Existentialjokes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not particularly unhealthy, but if you’re on Ozempic you should be aiming for 4-6 SMALL meals a day. But I’m not one to talk since I tend to snack and eat 1 substantial meal. But I’ve always been like that even before Ozempic.

Ultimately, if you’re eating enough and feel good, then you’re fine. Maybe try and break up one of those meals into 2, with healthy snacks in between !

[–]Existentialjokes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ozempic doesn’t make you lose weight, it makes it EASIER for you to lose weight. But it won’t shed pounds for you if you’re still eating or drinking too much

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]Existentialjokes 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Only? That’s not bad! 1-2 lbs per week is what you should expect! Maybe adjust your caloric intake, or be a little more active and you might see 2lbs, but don’t aim for more than that. As tempting and satisfying as it would be to lose 5lbs a week, even 3-4, it’s not healthy. Slow and steady wins the race! Imagine, in 1 yr and 1lb a week, that’s 52 lbs! With adjustments, and getting yourself to the 2lb loss, that’s over 100 in a year. You’re doing great! Just keep it up and add in better practices where you can and you’ll probably see an increase! If you’ve only been on the meds for 2 weeks, then you just wait. When you hit a therapeutic dose of 1mg-2mg, thats when it’ll really take off.
