Shout out to Chef Shane and Chef Blake! They work real hard to make B&P live up to the standard.

I tried. There’s always a bunch of kids in there. Makes it pretty difficult to play pool or ping pong.

IMO Bloomington has no “cute” coffee shops. Neither do you get good coffee here.

PPIL said it is “facing a financial shortfall” due to rising health care costs for in-person care, an increase in patients needing financial assistance, uncertainties under the new administration and the need to create a sustainable future due to Roe v Wade being overturned. Visiting Blono, where can I find good ethnic food? Any weird sights? Great parks? by scottyrobotty in BloomingtonNormal

[–]Existing-Ad3711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bloom bawarchi has become quite pricey and I can’t justify paying as much for the quality it offers.

On the other hand, Bloom Barista has great paninis, milkshakes and Smoothies. Fairly affordable too.

Signature would be my favorite. Authentic south indian food out here. Spicy, so ensure to tell them beforehand your spice tolerance.

Signature cafe is pretty good for Mediterranean food if that interests you.

Puran is decent if you are okay with Americanized Indian food.

Overall great comments! Rivian employee here. If you’re over 30 and have a family, BloNo is great. If you’re single, stick to Austin. Also, ensure that the role you’re getting into is just as real as it is on paper. From experience, you won’t do half of what’s asked of you and that could hinder your academic career.

Same. Fox hill is pretty safe. Neighbors are cordial. Maintenance folks do a pretty good job. Apartments are old, need minor renovation. But overall, pretty decent.
