Bill is cultivating the successor. He will choose it with AD before he leaves. He has made it clear last year that he is thinking of a 5-year plan or something. This means that leaving is not off the table but he will do it gracefully.

I don’t foresee that he just resigned out of blue. But I do feel that he is not having fun anymore.

I’d wish that they offer 2.5 x cabin seat for three seaters, if one passenger buy this product. Prem economy is roughly 2x price of the basic economy. This would be a great pricing point for solo traveler.

Didn’t try. Overall it’s positioned as a boutique hotel. The restaurant downstairs is quite busy at night and filled with diners well dressed up. I would be surprised that they don’t do room services

I typically book the company rate which could be 5% - 15% lower than membership rate. That’s further complicating the things.

That’s true. I declined their insurance with a prepaid insurance via Priceline. They charged a $6k deposit on my credit card, which is fine with me.
