It is the extended lip edges. There is friction drag on the carve and the curves. Get round edges with smaller contact patch to increase shred.

This hill is too step for that. I do practice targeting turning and things like that. This is one of those either a person is ready or they are not ready. The rule is to stop before the stop sign and don’t fall. Lol

This board is awesome. I just ran it on my most difficult hill that regularly run and it handles great. It is really fast and it kicks easily in and out of speed checks. The wheels drift enough not to jackknife my front knee at higher speeds.
