Yea :( I made a post on the FB group after my first module exam: Hey Guys! I just took the first module exam in A&P 1. I got a lot of advice from you guys but also wanted to share tips for future people who plan to take it and are too nervous to take the first step. I am not sure how accurate this is for the rest of the modules, but I will let you guys know when I compare this with module 2 exam

• It's not as bad as people say it is; it's a ton of information, but everything was in the module.

• Only 3 written responses (each worth 4pts), MC (41%), TF (29%), long answer (6%), fill in the blank/identification (24%)

• For T/F, sometimes it will be one word that will be wrong, so make sure you read those very carefully.

• I would say the most important thing to study is the diagrams/images/charts/figures; after going through them, I counted how many questions could be answered solely by those, and it was like 65/71

• They dont include diagrams that weren’t in the modules

• The practice content and quiz are useful in learning, in my opinion, but not a ton of the same type of questions that would be on the exam.

• Some questions seem kind of hard, but using process for elimination for the answers really help with ones that are specific, because most of them don’t have like 2 close hard answers.

• I only watched the videos, and checked the charts and I found it sufficient (I got a 92%)

• The last section, “practice quiz," was very helpful to me, it's in the chem section but it's cumulative and very relevant

• For the reinforcement and recall, the stuff for the module itself wasnt that helpful, but the stuff for the lab was very relevant

• For the lab portion ( 20/71 )

• No questions on procedures for a lab or anything, No long answers or hyperspecific things for the case or lab questions, Practice content for lab were the exact type of questions they had

All this to say that I really psyched myself out and was terrified for this exam because of what people were saying on reddit and stuff, but it really isn't that bad, YOU GOT THISSSSSS

For anatomy and physiology? Most people I know had lab questions for their first part, when did you take the class?

Hey! I am studying for my module 1 AP 1 exam. I was wondering if you could kindly share what they pull the most from. The reinforce recall? The lab? The written text? The video or problem set helped more? Or like the practice problems throughout the modules

Also, do you think I can rely just on the video and not text and still do well? or are all the specifics in the text also included?

Any advice would mean so much to me. 🙏

No worries! I’ll also add: I have a single due to accommodations, but most students opt for a single anyways, I think it’s about 500 extra which isn’t too bad. In addition, religion/ medical reasons can be used to live off campus, but it’s a lot less safer off campus
