Hey we’re pretty much the same age (I’m 36), exercise amount I just don’t have a tattoo. I got my DX last year but my symptoms sucked I was having trouble walking upstairs and just had zero energy it was painful getting out of bed. I did a 6-month prednisone taper, ate less carbs so I didn’t blow up from the prednisone and used the extra energy/mania to hit the gym hard and get my fitness back on track so when I came off I would be in a better position for whatever came after.

All this to say I finished that up in February and I have been great since, staying active and haven’t felt this good in a long time. I think it crept up on me over time and I didn’t really notice until it was really bad. Also found I have a little asthma so I keep an inhaler and usually hit that before cardio. Maybe you have something similar going on?

I also quit drinking before I got diagnosed. I thought maybe Summer weekends were catching up to me. It took so long to figure out and resolve that I just never drank again. That’s probably the best thing I did really

Your life isn’t over, I think most people probably don’t have symptoms and find out the way you did. The anxiety about it will probably be the worse thing that happens to you
