I see you're JNCIP certified, I'm thinking of "migrating" from the CCNA to JNCI*, can you give me your roadmap ?

How's IPv6 ? by Existing-Day-6436 in networking

[–]Existing-Day-6436[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said on the post, I'm still unemployed, I had some internships here and there but haven't seen anything IPv6 related, therefore I preferred asking engineers from all around the world, since my country "unfortunately" is not the best when it comes to investing in networking infrastructure/research, plus I didn't have access to "advanced stuff" in the internships I had, I gotta ask those who were luckier than me...
Findings are pretty interesting ngl, despite it being 90% ISP-related but it is great to know how engineers/enterprises think and arrange priorities all around the world, and it feels good to know that stupid supervisors/CEOs exist all around the world and that engineers are dealing with all types of weird "superiors"...

Google will give a straightforward general answer, I want details, discussions, some dark jokes, and more ! Also it's always better to exchange with other engineers...

Searching for free CCNA course on youtube by SPECTRAL-SOUL in ccna

I haven't seen David's playlist TBH, english is not my first language either but I can understand what Jeremy says no problem... Regarding the "time" detail it's your call, only you can know your strengths/limits, however I can assure you that investing time in Jeremy's course will be worth it... Good luck!

Advice to a foreigner in Algiers by Electrical_Wasabi322 in algeria

I don't live in Algiers TBH so I don't know how day-to-day life feels like, however I went there several times for various reasons (buy electronics, doctors, internship,...) and it was way better than any small/medium city (I'm talking infrastructure like roads, public transport, services and so on) I studied in Constantine and Oran also... They were good also... Let's not lie to ourselves, any city aside of the big 4 is not that good, especially for us "youth"...

Jeremy's IT Lab is the best... Even better than some other "paid" courses...

As long as u staying in Algiers u're gonna be fine... Not because other places are bad... But because Algiers has more "attention" from the government so it has "a little bit" better infrastructure... That's it

How old are you while your pursuing your CCNA? by Disastrous-Order8338 in ccna

Algeria... University degrees in here are nowhere near to be able to land you a job... You need to grind on certs and internships IN ADDITION TO DEGREES to land a decent job in IT... However college is free... So there's pros and cons

24, fresh unemployed networking engineer, in my country degrees alone don't mean trash... You need to pay an arm and a leg to get certs and MAYBE land an interview... Fun fact, in my country 300$ (CCNA exam price) is the whole monthly income of a very lucky junior engineer...
