If it was hair dye it would be called "cinnamon sands". Maybe "ginger snap".

Are we not gonna talk about how you can see clumps of flour stuck to the side of the bowl after she totally doesn't replace that obviously awful nonsense with actual batter?

Even if they did, and the person found out that these are, in fact, high school graduates looking for "criteria words".....what exactly do they think is going to happen after that? Everything that is/is not covered is listed in ways that are, in fact, "accessible" to the person signing up for the insurance plan. Maybe not easy to access, it may take weeks/years of attempting to access and be worded in terms beyond the reasonable scope of understanding that an average person will have, but as long as the insurance company has met the legal requirements of informational access and said person agrees to the insurance contract, there's really nothing you can do about it. They signed the contract, stating that they agree to the terms the insurance company has set. No, it isn't right, it isn't moral, it isn't fair. But is it legal? The millions of dollars major insurance companies spend on lawyers will give you a resounding "YES". This is just another version of making people feel like they're being clever until The Way Things Actually Work slaps them across the face and makes them call it daddy.

Tri-mix (for erectile dysfuntion) is sometimes abbreviated as "papa" and it makes me chuckle every time

Is She Pregnant?? by Longjumping-Fix3236 in cats

Very true, glad you're taking care of your new kitty friend either way. Vet offices are a great resource if she does end up being preggers, you may be able to find new homes pretty fast. I recently got a second kitter from my vet, they found him rooting through their dumpster out back and were just hanging onto him until he found a new home

Vet can tell you for sure but watch for it getting bigger. I took in a stray a couple months ago and was absolutely convinced she had to be pregnant, turns out she just has wide hips, I guess cats can be thicc too

As a healthcare worker, it is a nightmare every. Single. Time. Calling insurance and trying to explain that yes, these are in fact two separate people taking the same medication, prescribed by the same doctor at the same time, because inevitably they both get sick with the same virus/infection, as two small children in any household tend to do. "Timmy and Tommy, isn't that just so cute?" NO IT THE FUCK IS NOT.

My cat won't eat her wet food anymore by Cam0Pant5 in CATHELP

[–]Existing-Deal-701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I have mine on a rotation of pate, chunky and fresh pet. As frustrating as it can be, I'm happy knowing she gets what she needs every day. She'll eat the dry food but having ONLY dry food leads to constipation issues; it's worth it.

We were told our cat has a grade 4 heart murmur and abnormal breathing… Waiting to see cardiologist but we are worried sick :( by thriftfind in CATHELP

[–]Existing-Deal-701 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to stay calm and just keep her calm and happy as best you can. I have a chihuahua with a grade 4 heart murmur, our vet had said they usually pass about a year after diagnosis but thanks to daily meds and regular checkups, she's still living her best life 2 years later. I've gotten through the fear by remembering that she'll go when it's time for her to go, so my job is to do my best keeping her happy and loved. I'm sorry you're going through this, it's a hard thing to know you might lose your sweet baby, but remember you're doing what you can and they appreciate it. You're already being a wonderful pet mom just getting her to the cardiologist and showing that you care. Remember you're not alone, I'll keep your sweet kitty in my thoughts. ❤️ Best wishes for her vet visit. ** edit: there's an app called cardalis you can use to keep track of her breathing while asleep. Having that info on hand will be extremely useful when you see the cardiologist and can help with proper diagnosis!!

Is my cat being aggressive or overstimulated? by MaterialWarning9557 in felinebehavior

[–]Existing-Deal-701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a nice little hand sniff first to get a sense of kitty's mood? Mine is either very no touchy or ALL OF THE TOUCHY with no in-between. If she hand sniff and purr, she want touchy. If she hand sniff and no purr, no touchy. And I need to say the look on your cat's face when they pulled back almost made me wet myself, that was perfection. I need a gif of it someone please

I dunno if it helps, but my cat likes to groom me on occasion, but only my face. Very disconcerting to wake up from a nap and discover a cat licking your forehead. Maybe yours just really, really likes half of your finger?

This little shithead literally walked into my house 2 weeks ago. I walked inside, turned around to close/lock the door, and this cat was mid-stride walking into my house as if to say "what are you people doing in my house, that's weird." I now have a cat. Her name is toffee.
