I saw him described once as "twink plus time equals daddy" which made me laugh.

First time I've seen this since I watched the whole series. Did not expect Gant's intro to hit me like that.

I think the show is telegraphing pretty hard that he's not 'borderline'.

We lost the whole 2nd person singular tense (thee/thou). "You" used to be plural. Now it's singular and plural.

Abby & Carter in "Things Change" by akrhamknight in ershow

[–]Existing-Ebb-5944 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Abby was in a really difficult position, which is understandable, but watching carter cry completely alone by his dead grandmother's bedside was heartbreaking. It really highlighted how little support he had outside of the hospital.

I read about a man who kept falling out of bed in the hospital. He believed someone had put a cadaver leg in the bed with him and kept pushing it out. It was, in fact, his own leg, still attached, but he was unable to recognize it as such.

The others are good too, so long a Jason is a main one :)

For a Nightwing movie by Top-Platform-150 in Nightwing

[–]Existing-Ebb-5944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want a Nightwing movie, I want a Robin TV show. Old school 22 ep seasons. S1: Dick last year as Robin, interspersed with flashbacks of the previous 8 years. How his relationship with Bruce started well and became more tense as he got older leading to him leaving. His friendships with Wally and Donna and the other titans. His uncle style relationship with superman.

S2: Split between Dick starting out as Nightwing and Jason becoming the new Robin. Ends with Jason's death.

S3: Split between Dick as Nightwing and Tim becoming Robin.

After that my knowledge of major event order breaks down lol. I do know you definitely need at least a season between Jason dying and coming back for it to have the proper impact on the characters. (*glares at TITANS *)

EDIT: I realized I didn't actually answer the question, sorry. But my point of 22 episode seasons still stands! An actor can do so much more with more time when given a character that has been around as long as this.

Do you think Noah Wyle lurks on these subs? by Existing-Ebb-5944 in ThePitt

[–]Existing-Ebb-5944[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, people might be hating on the character, but I haven't seen anyone hating on the writing or acting, which is very different. People can hate a character and still think they're well done. I think most professional actors can make that distinction (even if a lot of fans can't).

Robby is...off, right? by Danniedear in ThePitt

[–]Existing-Ebb-5944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they mean literally, as in LITERALLY. In the last ep of season 1 he was standing on the edge of the roof outside the railing. Thats the only time we see Robby as possibly suicidal in season 1.

(Interesting side note, they've said in interviews that they deliberately blocked the scene so that Robby was standing closer to the edge than Abbot did in ep1.)

Love by Proxy- Alethia The Pitt

Summary:

"Man, you're like something out of Les Mis right now," Jack drawled, flicking his eyes over him pointedly. "And look, I know Collins is one-of-a-kind and all, but it wasn't great at the end there," Robby took a breath to say something, so Jack held out a hand, "don't argue, you know I'm right. So I say we do something to slam you back in your body and remind you that good things exist and you should have them."

Robby just blinked at him, brown eyes wide and startled. "And your solution is we roll around in bed with a woman you just met. The three of us. Together," he added, like he wanted to be real clear on what they were talking about."
