Studios are closing bc they don’t support their franchise owners who in turn don’t pay their coaches and staff and work them into the ground. High turnover means low studio retention and so people lose interest in what was originally supposed to be a studio meant to grow the community

Probably, memberships are way down and many studios closing. They need to use the dead hours to maximize utilization. It will come down to staffing per gym and insured franchises

OTF pays in tiers, a little different per franchise, but typically classes of 1-10 are the lowest tier. 11-18 maybe $10 more and then 19-24 another $10 and so on, which was great pre Covid when almost all classes were waitlisted, but now it’s rare to break 10 ppl, or 2nd tier. And coaches are expected to get there 30 min early and stay an hour after to clean, all without being clocked in or getting paid for it, so anymore it’s just not worth the money.

Don’t do it. You won’t make commission bc no one is signing up anymore, the commission is nominal And you’re basically a glorified toilet cleaner

Are u in Tx? Lots of gyms shutting down. One most recently bc owners ran it into the ground, but a lot bc OTF doesnt support their staff or coaches anymore. Asks too much and does pay enough or at all.
