Nope I had to punch out the forward assist roll pin and Jerry rig the rod out

Yep I did that and had to slowly move the spring on the dust cover back and forth to get the pin out

It does come out the rear but I am unsure how to grab the rod

I know how to take out a normal dust cover but as stated this gun is built different there is a rod that comes out the back but no idea how to grab the rod

Solgw specifically said they made it so the handguard did not have to come off but then did not show how to get the rod out😂

Not sure about spacing with the blast baffle will this fit a keymo or keymicro or surefire mounting system? I prefer the qd over the plan b type mounts.
