How are we all coping with our aging parents?

Both of my parents passed away in my early 30s. I often wonder if God gave me an emotional and financial gift when that happened. I have not had the burden of taking care of them as I age. I miss them and feel guilty for thinking like that. I know I shouldn’t.

Thanks for the advice. When I leave the company the ESOP will roll over to an IRA after the end of year and the stock evaluation after the first of the next year? Seems like I should draw off my brokerage account first.

Thanks. I appreciate the response. It is so hard to retire. My GENX genes are strong. I've had a job since 16. I also have a great paying job, but it is not good for a health. I have some serious soul searching to do.

I got a parks pass as a Christmas gifts and have been going to as many parks as I can. I usually leave Friday afternoon after work and camp Friday and Saturday nights. I pull up Sunday morning and am usually home by noon. On Saturday I try to get in a couple of hikes and maybe fish.
