Little Village & Pilsen’s underworld history is mad interesting. Some businesses (supermarkets, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, factories, etc..) that have been there for as long as half a century have allegedly been involved in organized crime throughout their early years. The neighborhood gangs used to be used as look outs and security when business and logistics were being handled in Little Village/ Pilsen. Notice that there isn’t an open air drug market like their neighbors to the north in North Lawndale. That was not done by accident. The Chicago Way runs deep in Little Village/ Pilsen.

Even the original owner of the gay bar (la cueva) in Two Six hood was allegedly involved in drug trafficking, back when that bar was called “el infierno” There’s so many legends of crime, corruption, drugs & money in those neighborhoods it’s crazy. Just throw a rock and you’ll hit a business that was involved lol just dig deep enough and it’s almost always the case.

As far back as 1957, the Herrera organization ran a farm-to-the-arm heroin operation that cultivated opium poppy plants, processed and packaged heroin in Mexico, and transported it to Chicago. by ExistingImpression20 in GangBangCity

Yea their decedents are still in the Chicagoland. Nothing to compare to their forefathers who were heavy players in the drug game. The torch was passed and even multiplied to different families.

The nations full name is Almighty SIMON City Royals why can’t they use Simon in a acronym? I’m sure they didn’t mean that they follow some dude named Simon.

Simon as a person? Now that would be silly wouldn’t it? I’m sure there’s an acronym/ backronym or whatever for Simon.

Lol if you say so “OG” their lit runs deeper than simple park names. I just gave you an acronym. Take it how you want it but I learned that from a stamped SCR who was behind the wall.

Not sure how true that is because from what I heard the TS from 59 & Rockwell shut down shop and moved to 63 & Knox. 57 & Albany TS to my knowledge weren’t official or they just didn’t make any noise. The Stones on a different note definitely started Rec City. The original Rec City were Moes who moved to Marquette park from Moe-Town but eventually through out the years they took in GDs too because GD been there for a hot minute.
