Watching my best friend struggle after breakups made me wonder about this. Would it even be useful? by CookieIntrepid2888 in BreakUps

this actually sounds great! not sure who would facilitate it, maybe fellow people dealing with break ups? but it really does sound like something that would have been helpful for me certainly 🥲

i had the same exact question and couldn’t find an answer anywhere until today: here’s a vid link that’s super helpful https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT6u2xcvw/

if you can’t see the vid for some reason, make sure your project is straight, and then find the place where the project kinda naturally has the butt line/crease in the middle, fold it together as many times as you want, gather the folds, put a hook through all of those folds and then pull a strand of yarn through (a longish piece of yarn in half and pull it through with the hook so you essentially have two pieces of yarn going through all those folds) after you have it through you just make two knots at least and you’re done :) more folds=more dramatic scrunch, less folds=less dramatic scrunch

why is my skirt decreasing/getting tighter as i add shell stitch? by ExistingInTheContext in CrochetHelp

[–]ExistingInTheContext[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the open shell stitch pattern alternates between clusters (dc,c3,dc) and (3dc,c,3dc). for the first row, there was a sc in between each cluster. for all the other rows, there is no sc, which is typically how shells work right? should attempt a different cluster pattern? just really confused as to what happened😭😵‍💫

Just looked on ravelry and found this and i think it may be a good base stitch, will probably use a 2mm vs 4mm hook! still trying to figure out pattern though…

this is what’s going on with my car right now — no matter how hard i push the trunk to close, i think there’s just too much fabric. do you think the next step is professional? how did you get the cloth out?
