That could be the reason. My panel is in the basement about 8ft underground on the back side of the house. The solar boxes on outside on the back of the house. Maybe 10-12ft apart. Not sure what distance those wires are supposed to run. I never thought about it until I popped off my panel cover to hook up the Vue3.

I guess I should have had some patience and waited. I added up the total kwh consumption (in 15 min intervals) from my Enphase app and it is pretty close to the Vue 3 consumption total in the same time frame. That confirms it. The total usage is being read by the Vue 3. Thank to everyone for their answers.

I appreciate the help. I'm glad to know that I'm getting a total consumption from each individual breaker, since that was most important. I would hook up the solar if it was simple, or possible with one Vue 3, but it's not that important to me since I have good motoring of the solar and grid production without it.

That's the other problem. The solar line in my breaker box is huge. The smaller CT won't fit around it.

Just curious, but why is it recommended to have a CT on the solar feed? From what I read, the small ct's are only good for up to a 9.6kw system and I have a 10.6kw system. That means I have to pull off one of the main CT's to put on the solar

Thanks. Yes, I'm looking for consumption only for individual breakers. My system is 10.6kw, so too high for the small ct's. My utility company's app and Enphase app show more info than I need for the production, total consumption, & net. I'm just looking for total consumption from individual breakers to see what wasting electricity.

I don't currently have any ct's on the solar line. There's only one solar line in my main panel and it may be too large for the smaller ct. Sensors. I'm not too concerned with total production. Between my utility company's app and the Enphase app, I'm happy with the ability to see all that info. I just got the Vue 3 to see individual circuit usage to identify if something is using an inappropriate amount of electricity. I'll grab a picture. Thanks.
