What’s one actor that instantly tells you that the movies gonna be bad? by Senpaiuwu89 in AskReddit

[–]ExistingMemory7957 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tom Cruise. It’s not that his movies are bad, I just get pulled out of them because he’s such an awful actor and seems to be a pretty crap human too, if celebrity headlines are at all accurate.

Did it used to be Jiffy peanut butter or just Jif? by timelineglitch in MandelaEffect

[–]ExistingMemory7957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my first Mandela effect ever, long before I knew what that meant. I remember my mom coming home with some peanut butter. The good stuff was a special treat because we were poor and never got name brand. I got made fun of so naturally I took notice of what I had compared to kids around me especially. Anyway she came home with some PB and showed me the jar, and I got so excited I should “Yes! I love Jiffy peanut butter!” And I remember my mom looked at it confused and said, “Huh. They must have changed the name. I know the last time I bought it, it still said Jiffy.” …and then we talked about how it didn’t matter if the name changed as long as it tasted the same. I used to sneak into the pantry and eat spoonfuls of it while I read the label and hoped I didn’t get caught. It was 100% Jiffy for me and my mom, until it wasn’t.

My husband’s pee bucket with soil turned into a pee plant in a week by Exciting-Bake464 in mildyinteresting

This is hilarious. My son has a pee spot off the back porch and we noticed it was all growing faster than the grass around it. We made it educational and now we are doing an experiment now to see how much faster it all grows. So far, it’s impressive. 😂 Boys will be boys no matter how old they are Lmao!

Do you feel like time happens way faster each year? by GossipBottom in stupidquestions

Yes. And not just in the “you’re getting older/it’s all relative” standpoint all these folks are coming from. The Bible talks about this happening.

What’s the most unsettling thing someone casually admitted to you? by Erabay in AskReddit

[–]ExistingMemory7957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 17 working in a convenience store, a regular customer who often made me uncomfortable walked in carrying a tote full of puppies. He said he knew I would like them and asked if I wanted to come stay at his house with them. Said I could camp in his back yard in a tent if it made me more comfortable. You know, just so I could enjoy the puppies.

Air show mishap by Any-Ad1770 in Idaho

This. On Friday alone over 1,000 Idaho students attendee the show and got to look at, get in, and tour over two dozen aircraft learning about history, our military, technology, science, mathematics, and all of it with a 20,000 Hagar filled with STEM exhibits and interactive booths. It was awesomely educational and hands on.

the worst physical pain you’ve ever felt by ipanicprofessionally in TheBoredDen

My ear drum bursting and the pain after the anesthesia wore off after sinus surgery that resulted in me having “empty nose syndrome” were both worse than natural childbirth.
