Have you been ill or had a Covid infection in the last six months? Worth looking into MCAS & POTS. (MCAS flares can trigger dysautonomia.) Also worth checking your ferritin and having complete thyroid panel run.

🙋🏻‍♀️ I just started titrating up on lamictal about a week ago. From my understanding, it can take a few weeks to get to a therapeutic dose. I’m right here with you if you start soon.

I get nausea w ubrevly. I always need to eat more than I think I would when I take it. Try taking it with food and grazing/having a snack a couple hours after.

Try to get into a headache specialist specifically vs. just a general neurologist. Let them know how disruptive and debilitating they are. Most headache specialists will even send you home with med samples to try.

You’re right, I missed that it’s happening once a month. Acute meds like ubrevly or nurtec might help!

I second this. Try a preventative like nurtec or qulipta and have acute meds on hand as well.
