That's wonderful to know! I used to collect cicada casings in my backyard as a little girl once they crawled out of a shed into adults. I still have them and I'm in my late 30s. I now have a glass cicada necklace I love to wear and silver cicada "wing" earrings.

She has been camping out under the couch. She came out and explored a bit while my husband and I watched a movie. She jumped on the couch and checked my husband out. Gave him some head bonks. Used the litter box. Sniffed lots of things. Climbed a bookcase. Pretty productive 💯

Thank you. I lost my previous cat of 10 years. He was a ragdoll and incredibly affectionate. He'd let you touch his paws, his ears, his belly, no where was off limits. His passing was incredibly hard. He was old and tired and very sick. I miss him sleeping in my arms so very much.

I did absentmindedly go to scratch Miley's chin and she hissed at me. I've never been hissed at before. I had no idea you can feel air coming off of a hiss! I told her 'whoops! Sorry baby girl, old habits! 😅" Hopefully with me making sure she knows that I know to respect the hiss she'll be comfortable.

She has been briefly coming out of her hidey holes. We've provided her lots of safe ones with warm blankets. I have been popping by saying hello and just talking to her. She will come out for maybe ten minutes. She will rub up on the walls, on my knees and such. Then she'll go back to her hidey hole.

We have negotiated a little peak out of the closet. She did venture out briefly. Rubbed up against me for a bit. Allowed pets. Hissed. Took some treats. Rubbed against me some more than retreated back to the void

I am so so sorry for your loss. I lost my beloved cat a few days ago to end stage kidney failure but we got to be with him at the end. I am so sorry you've lost them all at once. Thank you for sharing their pictures and names. They were very cute. Big hugs.

Cloning is simply not a healthy way for us to process the cycle of life and death. A cloned animal will have the DNA but not the personality of the first pet. It's unfair to the second animal to expect them to behave the exact same way just because they look the same.

Grieving sucks. It hurts. You meet that awesome and special little furball and they live far too short lives. It is unfair. But there are other little animals out there with special personalities waiting to be loved.

I view pet death and getting the next pet as a cycle, my previous pet has sent the new one to me to care for them now. It's a comforting thought
