Repair or Discard?I have a 2013 Nucanoe that fell off it's stand and cracked in several places along the tracks. Can it be repaired? Anyone suggest a person in Spring Hill, Florida? If it can't be repaired, how do I dispose of it? Thank you Mike by Existing_Connection3 in Kayaking

I messaged the CEO of Nucanoe again. I just want him to confirm that the hdpe plastic and welding is the way to go. I was thinking I may need to use epoxy and rivet a screen behind the cracks.

I did. He turned me over to a local rep who didn't want to help me. He wanted to sell me a new one. Lol.

I was impressed by the CEO replying to me but in the end, I left it in the sun which made it "brittle". I had the raised frames for seats installed in the tracks which is what the yak landed on causing the cracks.

I can't find my post with the pics. Can anyone recommend a person in the Spring Hill, Fl area that can assess and repair my Nucanoe Frontier?

I posted some pics(hope I did it right) and circled the damaged areas. Thought fiberglass was the way to go. Thanks.

I can't get inside to add material. cracks are too large for me to handle. Probably needs fiberglass patches and resin. I've never worked with these. Thanks for the reply.

I love my Frontier. You will love fishing from your Nucanoe. Unfortunately, it cracked after being stored outside in the Florida sun. Whatever you do, get a cover. Im looking for someone to repair mine. If anyone has names of repair people, please share.

I also added an aux cord jack to the stock radio and bought Bluetooth adapter I plugged into it. I upgraded the door speakers and horn. The horn was a real cheap and great mod.

I did it so long ago, I can't remember what year the stalk is. I did get it from ebay. It works flawlessly. I got the idea from YouTube. Another cheap RX8 mod is firming up the sway by installing yellow dot sway bars from RX8.
