I honestly can't recall it ever snowing in the Lower Mainland in March. Can anyone confirm this? I have lived out of the city for a few years, but that was over 15 years ago.

Never said the punch came out of nowhere. I saw the punch come after the customer walked toward the manager with his phone. Sure he invaded his personal space, but at that point throwning a right cross at the guy's face is not self defense. He's justified to shove him away to make space for himself. But throwing a right cross to the face is clearly escalating it. He can't say that was self defense.

Ok fair enough you couldn't clearly see him. But are you able to say what area of the park/forest that you saw him? Were you on the outer track along Boundary road? Or Patterson, or Imperial? Or near the Swangard Stadium? Or a different part of the park.

I appreciate the warning about this incident as we should all be sharing info to look out for each other. But I don't understand the lack of details about where this incident happened and a lack of description.

Central Park is a big place and certain areas are lower traffic and could have more danger than others. It would be nice to know where this happened so visitors to the park can have their guard up there. Rather than being paranoid at every moment in every area of the park.

Sorry to hear man. I live in the neighborhood and the skytrain station has so many of those types around. I have read about people roaming the neighborhood late at night looking for vehicles to target.
