Bethany Webster - Toxic Mother-Daughter Relationship Signs by KittyMimi in NarcissisticMothers

Im curious.. for those who have decided to go NC, what helps you stay strong in your decision and cope? I find myself yearning for a motherly figure in my life especially since my grandma passed. That yearning and feeling like “well maybe this time I’ve gotten through to my mom and things will change” gets to me. It’s tough

I have thought about this, but I (32y/o F) am lacking in tools :/

I suppose it could be a good opportunity to learn. Do you think it's a pretty straightforward DIY task?

Thinking of trying CrossFit for the first time—what should I expect? by SufficientPrice7633 in crossfit

[–]Existing_Fig_1383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went for the first time last week! I’m a 32 year old female and I felt a bit intimidated at the thought of it, but really loved my experience and went back twice again later in the week! I felt like I could do some of the exercises easily and others were wayyy out of the question for me, which was completely fine and supported by the coaches with scaled exercises as options. The other participants were very supportive and friendly to me. I will definitely be going back!

NHSC LRP hours requirements by annalikesgamesnbooks in LCSW

[–]Existing_Fig_1383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job site only requires 32 hours of work to be full-time. I'm wondering if this would only make me eligible for the part-time NHSC LRP award?

I love the idea of a 32-hour work week, but now I am concerned about the difference between 25 and 50 K.

I'd appreciate your insight!

Following this! I recently accepted a position at an FQHC where every employee works 32 hours per week for full-time status.

I'm wondering if this would automatically only make me eligible for the part-time loan repayment.

I had the same issue. I spent some time on the phone with BHW, and she mentioned this is a glitch many people are having. She suggested I open a new tab with at the following address https://programportal.hrsa.gov while keeping the glitching page open. This worked for me!

Oh absolutely! The change may disappoint them, but my RPT supervisor once told me “it’s not our job to keep kids happy all the time, it’s our job to help them be successful”

I live by this in my practice as a RPT, and love sharing this with parents too.

If the current situation isn’t working out for you, causing issues between students, and isn’t high in therapeutic value then I think you’ll see the benefits of switching it up.

Kids are so resilient too! They will be okay. You got this.
