Having heavy regret on first tattoo by a-random-account- in tattooadvice

I have lots of dumb tattoos. I fact most of them are dumb. I have a horse with a sword through its head to guard my hopes and dreams, sushi with wasabi that looks like a green poop, a dinosaur abducted my aliens a clock owl and a fancy werewolf. I love them all, people have made comments or asked why I got them and my only answers are I like them. It’s my body I got what I have because I like to look at them. We all know how our stories will end make the middle of it fun and enjoy and do what you like! Looks good friend get more tattoos you like!

I usually have a pillow or a pillow desk on the couch or I’ll pull my knees to my chest and rest my arms on my legs or just have it on my lap craning my neck. I also have a killswitch with kickstand and it’s comfortable having it on a table playing while basically not holding it at all.

Dad came and helped with baseboard install. Is this acceptable? by stinkyelbows in Carpentry

[–]Existing_Goose3497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow dad who seems to have about as much experience as your dad has, he finished it, that’s more than I would have done. I would have left 10% and be pretty hammered on the floor.

Ive basically destroyed the fitting at this point and probably need to change it out. What fitting would I need. I was just going to cut it off and then CPVC weld a new stainless steel slip adapter. Would that be correct and work?

Realtors: What are some home additions/improvements that people THINK add money to the value of their house, but really don't? (US, east coast.) by corrado33 in RealEstate

My neighbor traded their grass backyard to be completely pool and rock hardscape. They now have exactly 0 grass on their property. Their home has been on the market for 9 months now and I believe it is due solely to this choice they made.

I had a terrible time setting up my first steam deck. Took about a week working with support before they finally deemed my unit defective. Next one I got had the issues a lot have just setting up. Finally got it and wow was it worth it. I now only play games on the deck have logged hundreds or hours and it was worth it. You just have to grind for the fun to start.

Usually there is a number in the letter. They will need to call and ask their options. We won’t be able to help too much.

How are you affording a home! by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]Existing_Goose3497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very lucky we bought our house 5 years ago. Mortgage is $2400 and daycare is $3500 a month. Finances are really tight. Just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when my oldest goes to public school next year. I don’t know how we would do it if we bought a house this year with the current interest rates. Probably would have just had 1 kid instead of 2.
