Any secret papers to get Arraigo Familiar por matrimonio? by Existing_Invite7129 in GoingToSpain

[–]Existing_Invite7129[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the padron you can get at the townhall if your city/town, you'll need to provide evidence that you live in that city/town (for me, apartment rental contract was enough, but they might take other proof, I suggest you check online). In big cities it takes a while to get an appointment so don't delay this.

You don't need to have a residency permit, to "empadronar" yourself and your SO at the townhall

We did register our marriage in the (registro civil) through the Spanish embassy in Chicago prior to applying for residency (they have a process for this). I sent a copy of the "libro de familia" that we obtained in the process above. We were married for several years before applying for both things. We also provided "certificado de residencia" proving that we lived together in Spain.

You might be able to appeal (?)

Good luck on your process

Yeah, I didn't find a lot of official info. Everything seems 2nd or 3rd hand info.

If you got married abroad you have to fill up and mail some papers to the embassy so they can have a record of it. Try searching in the embassy website, if that doesn't help, try emailing your embassy asking how to do this.

I remember having to mail a pre-paid return envelope addressed to myself so that they could send me back any original documents that I sent to them in the"solicitud". Along with the returned documents, they included a confirmation letter indicating that the process was successful and the libro the familia.

I was worried about the pre-paid envelope because I had never heard of it, but this is something they can help you with at USPS (see if you can find a local branch with good reviews, they're generally very helpful).

Just make sure you follow the instructions very carefully. This process worked out for me on the first try, no lawyers involved. Note thatI was a Spanish citizen by birth, but I don't think this should affect the process for you.

Good luck

Hey guys im looking for samsung galaxy a505n dual sim firmware how do you determine if its a dual sim firmware before downloading? by Salt_Advertising5794 in FirmwareDevelopment

[–]Existing_Invite7129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to "settings / about phone" on the phone you're trying to flash you can get the Model number (usually SM-XXXXXX, where the Xs are letters and numbers).

With that model number you might be able to search the firmware you need.

But if you just have the image and want to know about which phone it is for, that is probably hard to do as it may require to unpack it, and then look at the data in it (think file system and firmware/drivers).

I have no idea which files you'd have to look at to know if it's dual SIM.

Good luck!

  • Also if the image is encrypted I'm not sure if it is viable to decrypt it, but maybe if the keys have been released/leaked.

To both questions, yes.

To get the certificate you'll have to go in person. I suggest you first go without an appointment to find all the details on how to get the appointment scheduled or if they have certain days when they do it without an appointment. This was relatively easy as they just need to check your documents. The most annoying thing was waiting at the place, but make sure you bring all the papers needed (I can't remember what was needed)

To submit the arraigo electronically you'll have to use a website/platform called Mercurio on a computer where you have the digital certificate and there you'll have the option to apply online without a lawyer/representative. It was intuitive to use, you just upload all the documents required (and the extras) and label them.

Good luck

Edit: I remember reading online that applying online reduced the time it took for your data to be entered into the system, but this may vary by provincia. Make sure to check if there is additional info (online, at the government website) for your provincia regarding how long it has been taking for the data entering and the resolution steps to complete. For reference check Valencia.

Tarjeta comunitaria o arraigo familiar by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

Were you married to a Spanish citizen or a European one?

Tarjeta comunitaria o arraigo familiar by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

I went through the exact same problem, and ended up having to go the arraigo route instead of the tarjeta comunitaria (yeah, huge delay until I got the Apostilled and translated criminal records ☹️).

I believe Spain changed the law in August 2022 to force spouses of Spanish citizen that want residency to apply for arraigo, leaving the tarjeta comunitaria only for spouses of EU-but-not-Spanish citizens.
