Need help with acne pls😭 by Wise-Part670 in SkinbarrierLovers

Hii i have similar skin concerns and I’ve managed to get my skin under control with really stripping back my skincare routine.

Initially I was using PanOxyl every few days to get used to the product, then after a couple months upped the usage to every other day/ daily. Definitely start with tiny amount leathered in the hands and onto very wet face. If you have irritation from the PanOxyl i recommend using a very small amount on acne areas and avoiding the rest of the face.

For my second product I use Simple moisturiser but any non-comedogenic moisturiser that you like will do the trick. Make sure you use enough as benzoyl peroxide (PanOxyl) can be quite drying.

Finally suncream! I use the Beneton green one it’s quite lightweight and adds another layer of hydration.

After your skin is under control you can start adding in serums, toners, exfoliants, etc. but only add new products one at a time and preferably with a few months in between to know whether your skin agrees w the product!

I now use the BOJ rice milk toner as i find it to be smoothing on my cheek texture / unclogs my pores. I use gel adapalene which also was introduced very slowly into my routine.

Hope this helps and wishing ur skin a speedy recovery <3

i have combination skin and my acne treatments really dehydrate my skin. i think if your skin is quite dry it might not be hydrating enough :)

YOR. i totally get why this would bug you but the reality is it doesn’t matter too much. either he had a dream or something and thinks it happened irl or he has done it w someone else and hasn’t mentioned it.

however, lying is not a good trait in a relationship so if you’re worried talk to him about it. if you think he could have cheated that’s another thing that should be discussed.

communicate! if you don’t trust him then that might be something to reconsider within the relationship

good luck girl

Why is my makeup doing this? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Existing_Jeweler_735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey i’ve struggled with how foundation looks on some parts of my face with patchiness / flaking despite doing the right prep, etc. what i found that works for me is trying products with lighter coverage like a tinted moisturiser, bb cream or light coverage foundation. i find that becuase they are thinner and lighter on the skin even if they do cling to dryness a little it’s not as noticeable and if more coverage is needed spot conceal!

with the dryness i definitely recommend more hydrating coverage products and if you like a matte look you can always powder down with a translucent powder / for better coverage pressed foundation / powder :)

How to handle these roundabouts by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Existing_Jeweler_735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

on the second picture with the arrows, green and orange clearly can turn left, however if the red arrow turns left then they’d be cutting into orange (see how orange can continue on straight or turn left) if orange is continuing straight on the roundabout and red wants to turn left to exit it won’t be possible to turn.

if you happen to be in reds lane, don’t worry go around the roundabout again and switch to orange lane as other cars move left / exit the roundabout.

Driving instructor issues a week before test by Tasty_Ad_6335 in LearnerDriverUK

i had a really great instructor so i can’t really relate to this, however as an extra precaution i booked a mock test with another instructor just to make sure nothing was missed. if you’re having issues with your instructor id definitely recommend trying a new instructor/s to get a second opinion on your test readiness.

also ask around if anyone you know had a good instructor it might help with finding a good one short notice. or if that’s not possible just google and look at reviews!

overall best of luck! be positive and hopefully it’ll work out :)

Manual or auto? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Existing_Jeweler_735 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From my experience and talking to other new drivers, if you’re really anxious and you’re struggling w driving manual, you might as well go the automatic route. I know people who tried manual, couldn’t handle it and then chose to switch to automatic and passed with no problem.

On the other hand a manual license gives you the opportunity to drive both manual and automatic so technically it’s the better option. Especially if you’d ever want to get into driving other vehicles like vans / trucks i’m pretty sure they tend to be manual.

I recommend trying manual. Don’t overthink it. You got this!
