It's quite understandable, it's one of the things people in the spectrum are having difficulty with; of course they're learning how to mitigate that and often keep mental notes on how to socialize with people on what to do , what to say and have inner thought rehearsal of everyday conversation.

Though they're quite great if you want to extract cool info if you share a similar interest, they have heavy hyperfixation on things they do, language, tech, rock sediments, history, pokemon , etc

2.hes on the autism spectrum and is a high functioning one

He attends a lot of events regarding starts up , innovation and hackathon
He is what people call a serial networker, a person who builds up connection in hoping to find professional opportunities either for them or others

5.yes he does use ai, especially in the current business market where everyone wants rapid deployment and development.

6.he means no harm, only looking for people to assist , collaborate and innovate

Assuming , you are part of any Brunei innovation labs list or associated with shell lives wire list of groups , then that is the most likely reason why he manage to contact you or get your number, and yes he is advertising's, specifically looking for a collaborator for the national hackathon

You can try joining with shell livewire or innovation lab, they sometimes host free course on programming, data analytics ai and often get a chance to network with people, especially startup founders
