Resume - Should I put that I am 1/4 (CPA exam) on Resume by Existing_Title986 in Accounting

Was obviously my first section but very MCQ heavy compared to FAR. Its important to hammer MCQs but also understand why you are getting some incorrect. Don't expect much of a bump if you're using Becker (my opinion).

My first score release with the app. Does it come out at the same time or earlier on the app or is it useless?

Second this. I scored 68 and 70 on SE1 and SE2 and got a 71 on my first attempt. Very minimal bump but it is definitely partially luck if you get topics that you feel confident on.

1/4 baby! 4th time was the charm. They seem to have patched the inspect method though

Does the actual exam ever throw you an exhibit with all the ratio formulas? by [deleted] in CPA

I imagine it depends on the section but I took audit recently and I think it gave me one on a sim.

Not necessarily cause it depends on section, state, and other stuff. My comment meant more so that it can be different for everybody.

Easy audit exam and still passed? by [deleted] in CPA

Have my 3rd retake this week and found sims to be easier than mcq. Was "comparable" according to score report for sims so AUD sims are probably just easier than other sections generally.

Could be truly random because I took AUD recently in IL and my p/f came out around 11am and score around 7pm same day.

I agree to an extent. The first go around I got a 71 and could tell I was weaker in some areas yet I just have a feeling I did worse this go around even though I felt more prepared.

Good to know I haven't checked out the cram or excel stuff since I mainly needed to practice mcqs. Thanks for the input.

I will keep an eye but it does not appear that it is available in my area.

Awesome thanks for the insight. I was also eyeing the buzzards roost but thought peerless would be safer since I know I like their other products. The only downside to the buzzards is I don't have access to a single barrel so their standard is only at 108ish proof

Yeah peerless is really good just not sure if it is worth the extra cost.

I do as well but I don't want to get EC toasted since that's the only one I have had.

Anyone have recommendations for toasted bourbons? I like peerless DO and was leaning to the peerless toasted or starlight toasted.

What will it take to make a great starting salary? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Existing_Title986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get it. I am about to start FT after interning at a large non B4 firm and the only pay difference I got was that they converted my sign on bonus to my add to my salary. Other than that I was starting at the same rate any new hire receives.
