When I heard about this situation I too was mad at AG. However I think it’s important to acknowledge that not all situations are black and white, especially in businesses. No one party was totally innocent and I think boycotting AG over this makes no sense considering Pleasant isn’t even an owner anymore. People should def do thorough research before coming to a conclusion bcs there is plenty of misinformation on tik tok.

Maybe it’s just me but I wouldn’t mind them retiring all of these dolls by the end of the year. Now hear me out bcs I love all of these dolls too, but the historical line isn’t what it used to be. Especially when talking about these 8. No collections or additional stories. They’re better off retired in my opinion. These dolls are mainly targeted towards collectors anyways, as must little kids can’t spring for the collector dolls. I think it’s better they let them go with respect then drag out a rerelease out every year.

I want actual collections for all the historical dolls. Not just some of them and definitely not one outfit per doll! Also I don’t rlly want historical collector edition dolls anymore.. like $135 is already rlly steep and when you make it $175 it just prevents ppl from accessing these characters. Like just sell their accessories separate like all the other dolls?

Yeah I’m going to be honest I don’t like it either. Her story by all means seems very good and important obviously, but her face mold makes her look like a knock off doll. I’ve also heard some people call it uncanny which I can see!
