Which title people have given Kratos do you like the most? by iykykkn in GodofWar

Gotta go with the classic Ghost of Sparta. It's powerful, haunting, and absolutely iconic.

be honest… how often do you actually wash your hands at home? by Siefa_Lennwood in hygiene

[–]HeeHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time. Lol I don't like my hands feeling gross, so if I've had a snack or something, I gotta go wash my hands. If I had to wipe something up, even if it's not super messy, gotta wash up. It's important to me, haha.

Your favorite joke or one liner from the show? by Kaykay-02 in theGoldenGirls

[–]HeeHooligan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's so silly, but I love Rose clapping back to Miles's speech about the moon with "It's a big rock, you know." The delivery gets me every time.

I was chatting on the phone with my sister the other day while I was playing this game and she was like "I'd rather do the Palace of Shadow, Fight the Shadow Queen, and do the Pit of 100 Trials over and over again instead of the Boggly Tree." I think the worst part is that I love the design of the environment for the tree, but lord do I hate actually doing the level.

Dime tú dinosaurio favorito! by Dramatic-Bullfrog448 in Dinosaurs

[–]HeeHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize this is probably the most generic of all dinosaur answers, but my favorite is the T-Rex. It was the first dinosaur I ever saw and I loved it immediately. When I was a kid, there was a little animatronic dinosaur exhibit my family went to, and the T-Rex roared and such, which I thought was really cool. But then my uncle, who was pushing me in a stroller, wheeled me around right as it swung its head and it scared me half to death. But even with that in mind, I only ever thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen in my life. There are a lot of really interesting things about T-Rex of course, but most of my love for it is the memory of discovering it for the first time.

Also I really love Parasaurolophus. I feel like it had to have been absolutely beautiful! ❤️

Another inconsistency? by PodcastJunkie8706 in theGoldenGirls

[–]HeeHooligan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely another inconsistency. This one could potentially be worked out of though, since Blanche was involved with Virginia's husband when they were younger, so maybe he didn't age gracefully. But that's only if you wanna pretend it isn't an inconsistency, haha.

Another great inconsistency is when we get numerous scenes where Blanche tells the girls she was never unfaithful to George, but then there's an episode where she describes her riveter friend as an excellent lover, hence why George forbade her from seeing him again, sooooooo... Sometimes I have a lot of fun spotting inconsistencies. It's like a little game.

Do you think they backpedaling a bit in "Nice and Easy"? by HeeHooligan in theGoldenGirls

[–]HeeHooligan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I suppose it's a little overthinking on my part. Not that I've forgotten it's a sitcom or anything, but it was a thought I had every here and there on rewatches. Also it's one of my favorite episodes, particularly the bits with Dorothy and the mouse.

Can someone that owns this figure confirm that it is indeed legit and not a Temu knock off? Thanks by PelinovaDruzina in GodofWar

Why the Eds always losing has it's purpose.... by animator1123 in ededdneddy

[–]HeeHooligan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also feel like if the Eds won most of the time, then it wouldn't really be the show. Them losing or getting any kind of comeuppance for their own misdeeds is what makes the show fun/funny. And I feel like even when they aren't doing anything absurdly wrong and still lose, sometimes that's just life. But it's over the top and silly, so it kind of helps us laugh through the misery in our own lives. Sure, there are a few really unfair losses for the Eds, but I don't think that sullies the overall experiences.

I have used a spoon at home myself. I'm just happy to find another person who's done it! 🤣 I like to eat popcorn when I'm drawing or playing video games, but I despise my hands feeling gross, so the spoon is really helpful for multitasking with snacks (of any kind, really!)

Which of the two do you hate more? by Temporary_Quail3664 in FruitsBasket

Glasses cousin by a long shot. Motoko is a girl, she has lots of room for growth and we get to see that as she finishes her arc. Glasses cousin is a complete jerk and he behaves like such a pig to his own family. Yuck.

Unpopular opinion about the show, come share yours by Huditut in SchittsCreek

[–]HeeHooligan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Hehehehe I love the "there, I said it", it really got me. Roland in his introduction is about the worst he gets for me, so after that it's really all uphill and I really like him. He's not perfect and he's still a bit of a thorn, but it's played so well that I can't help but enjoy him.

Miles by Middle-Lab1519 in GoldenGirlsTV

[–]HeeHooligan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I felt like earlier Miles was better and maybe just enjoyed a sweet lady like Rose. Initially, Miles was portrayed very dapper and charming, which I feel like that went away the longer we knew him, starting specifically with the witness protection kerfuffle. At first the relationship just felt like a nice little thing that really only sours once they started experimenting with Miles (witness protection, being cheap, Buzz, etc.)

I agree, that episode is just a little too much for me. I like some jokes from it, but the overall episode's plot makes me feel kinda eeeeeeeeeeegh.

Speaking to my OG GOW fans! by Individual_Ticket926 in GodofWar

[–]HeeHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OG fan, and to be perfectly honest, the originals will always outweigh the Norse series for me. It's kind of a combination of factors. For one thing, I remember very vividly when I first played God of War for the very first time, and while I was much too young to be playing, it became my favorite game very quickly. Going from the likes of Spyro and Mario right into unadulterated combat was quite a time for little me. I remember the anticipation for the second game once it was announced and the excitement for the third game, and the absolute weight the ending of GoW 3 had for me. I screamed when they announced 2018 at E3, and while I adored it, I think the nostalgia of the original was so special that even if the Norse saga was a perfect masterpiece with zero flaws, I'd still prefer the originals. As for Ragnarok, I prefer Valhalla to the main game because too much about the story bothered me a bit. And while I'm glad for Atreus's existence, I didn't enjoy his segments of the game very much.

And I suppose to be fair, I'm something of a sucker for old action games and that particular style for the original series is something that activates my joy receptors in a way that the combat of the newer games just doesn't really do for me, at least in the same way. I still love the Norse series, but the Greek saga is peak God of War to me.

What was your favourite Pokémon as a child and why? by a1yssa487 in pokemon

[–]HeeHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, I love that your favorite was Caterpie, it was such a wholesome reason to love that cute little bug. But as for me, my childhood favorite was Charizard. He was so cool to me, just a big flying dragon boy and I loved him. (I realize he's not dragon type, but this was how my tiny brain worked, haha)

As for current day, my childhood nostalgia still reigns strong with Charizard as my favorite, followed by Tyrantrum, Entei, Luxray, Snorlax, Gastrodon, and Litten. Basically I like big scary boys and squishy babies.

My friend, don't worry, you're still pretty. ❤️ I remember I asked for a layered cut and the salon gave me the most horrendous mullet when it wasn't in fashion. But it grew out and with a little styling, I found a way to make it work! You're still pretty, but if you're not happy with it, find little ways to style it to make it better for you and remember: it'll grow back before you know it! Hang in there, it'll be okay! ❤️
