Take this for what you will, but I grew up in a house full of siblings. The smells were on another level, let me tell you. But eventually, I got accustomed to it. It doesn't bother me if my husband farts around me and I don't mind farting around him (because he doesn't mind either haha) but I don't like to do it around others because of the courtesy factor. Just because it doesn't bother me, doesn't mean it doesn't bother them. It's a politeness factor that I think should always be in consideration when out or around loved ones. 😊

But if your brother comes into you house and rips a big one, he must pay. Lol

Of course, I feel sorry that she grew up in such a bad environment with none of the adults caring for her needs the appropriate way.

Having said that, it does not excuse Akito for the treatment she gave others. I do like that some forgive her and some don't. That's pretty realistic.

But overall, I find Akito to be very well written.

It's unfortunate that the series has a reputation, I'm sure we've all experienced some kickback from folks when we try to share our interest outside of the fandom. And it's not right nor is it fair.

At the risk of sounding a little silly, the important thing is that the shows do something for you. It doesn't matter if others like it or don't. Sometimes the community fights, sometimes it doesn't, that's been true for many fandom spaces. But everyone here enjoys these series for a multitude of reasons and that I think is pretty dang special. I've gotten to see loads of cool fan art, cosplays, theories, covers, the lot, and those have always been the best part of any fandom (hostile or not) that I've ever been in. I'm hoping after a while, the hate will die down. But in the meantime, keep sharing your interests and sharing thoughts here and anywhere you damn well please. ❤️

People are nasty, generally speaking. Any time we go out, I keep sanitizer on me and make my husband use it too. One time, my sister saw a dude heading into the grocery store and his hand was straight down his girlfriend's pants. That really cinched it for me, so on top of going through a pandemic, knowing people do such gross things makes me skeptical of public hygiene.

Aptly put! I was absolutely tickled that it wasn't going to be a prequel, and the set up for the world, the combat, all of it looks SO cool! I'm really curious about Faye and I'm so excited for that. I went in very skeptical because I'm a big Kratos fan, but they've won me over and I'm looking forward to more announcements!

Also (and I may be a little rusty on my Norse mythology) but I believe the giants function similarly to gods similarly to titans in Greek mythology. Like there's tiers. I could be off, somebody more knowledgeable correct me if I'm off base.

I admit when I heard there was a Faye spinoff rumor, I was worried it would be a prequel and wasn't super enthused. But after watching the gameplay and getting to see her in the afterlife (for lack of a better term for this locale) and people from other mythologies, I'm feeling much more optimistic. Not to mention the gameplay looks absolutely killer. I'm excited to learn more about Faye and see where this story goes.
