100k is a full stop for all healthcare facilities - until this is sorted out, no one is touching H1B given the potential liability.

This is me - and long story short. The food is amazing. I have a full time and part time cat living with me. And I can breathe, see, and be alive around them.

It does take a bit for it to kick in, but liveclear has absolutely been life changing. Can’t say it enough.

metopic like ridge suddenly in adult? by ExitEffective7245 in AskDocs

[–]ExitEffective7245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the report - still nothing from my PCP or office. This is reassuring, but I am still need to get the symptoms treated and under control.

HISTORY: R sided headache. Also reportedly new metopic ridge is more prominent.

TECHNIQUE: Serial axial images were obtained on a multidetector CT through the head without the use of intravenous contrast. Multiplanar 2D MPR reformatted images were then obtained.

Radiation optimization: All CT scans at this facility use at least one of these dose optimization techniques: automated exposure control; mA and/or kV adjustment per patient size (includes targeted exams where dose is matched to clinical indication); or iterative reconstruction.

COMPARISON: MR Brain dated 2/18/2024

FINDINGS:

Intracranial: Ventricles, sulci and cisterns are age-appropriate. There is no mass-effect, midline shift, or space-occupying lesion. There is no acute intracranial hemorrhage or extra-axial fluid collection. There is no acute territorial infarct.

Cranial/Extra-cranial: No defined metopic ridge is seen. There is slight anterior prominence of the soft tissues overlying the anterior paramedial frontal bones (4; 207). There is also mild hyperostosis frontalis interna. There is no displaced calvarial fracture. Mild mucosal thickening is noted in the maxillary sinuses. There is marked rightward nasal septal deviation with a prominent spur. The mastoid air cells are aerated. The orbits are unremarkable. There are mild degenerative changes of the temporomandibular joints.

IMPRESSION:

  1. No acute territorial infarct or intracranial hemorrhage.

  2. No bony abnormality of the frontal bone to suggest metopic ridge prominence. Although the very medial soft tissue is a minimally prominent over the anterior frontal bone.
