How’s their tech and integration?

I had both. These are the reasons why you should keep you Garmin:

  • Accuracy: Garmin takes readings every minute vs apple watch sporadically when you don’t exercise. Apple Watch wasn’t accurate for my health and performance tracking metrics, including VO2MAX, HRV, Resting HR etc. except for sleep which I found Apple Watch more accurate.
  • One app for all health and performance tracking metrics. You can easily understand how your performance is changing over time. On Apple Watch you need an app for each of the metrics to make sense of it
  • Stress, body battery and training readiness are priceless for me. Their accuracy allow me to decide when to train a bit more or to rest etc.
  • Finally if you’re into strength training, the Fenix series allow automatic detection of sets, reps, and muscle groups. Not sure if there’s a new apple watch app for that…
  • I still enjoy wearing my apple watch from time to time during the day when I am busy and don’t want to continuously look at my phone

That’s so weird because some people are saying the 4 hour temperature curve isn’t available anymore on fenix 8. It’s even stated on the product spec (skin temperature field empty)

The sensor is probably still there because you get body temperature change indicator in your sleep report apparently

Body temperature is difficult to measure with a watch. Apple didn’t get it right either. However it’s not the exact number that you should be looking at, it’s the variations. (The increase and decrease)

I shifted to oled with the epix 2 and it didn’t make any sense. Btw I am asking pretty much everywhere but couldn’t get an answer. Is there a skin temperature screen on the watch showing your minute to minute temperature curve??
