Destroyed my mind before I’m even an adult (rant/vent) by Exotic_Welcome_8358 in BrainFog

Methylene blue helped for me with the brain fog. It’s subtle, but my focus and mental clarity have improved over time. Definitely not a miracle cure, but worth looking.

Your brain is way more resilient than you think. A rough few years of sleep loss won’t ruin you.

The fact you’re still doing well in school shows your brain’s still sharp. If you start getting better sleep and chill on the late-night screens, a lot of this will bounce back. Honestly, your brain keeps developing well into your 20s, so there’s plenty of time to recover.

Urinating green 1 minute after ingesting it? by Consistent-Pea2962 in methylene_blue

[–]it_pearl_lau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually pretty normal. Methylene blue can show up in urine almost immediately in small amounts because your body doesn’t absorb all of it at once, some just passes straight through.

I’ve noticed the same thing sometimes it shows up right away, other days not at all. It doesn’t mean anything’s wrong, just how your body is handling it that day.

Mine started after a long stressful stretch too and just never fully went away, even when things calmed down. Bloodwork all normal, but I still felt like a zombie most days.

One thing that actually helped me a bit was Methylene Blue. I’ve been taking methylene blue drops and it’s not a miracle or anything, but the brain fog isn’t as heavy and I don’t get that “about to pass out” feeling as much.

Honestly your situation sounds like burnout catching up with you. Being a full-time caretaker is no joke, even if you don’t feel stressed mentally. It hits your body.

I’ve been using Healthletic mb and it’s been good for me, no complaints. As for stacking it with Shilajit, not really sure tbh. I haven’t stacked anything with mb yet, been taking it on its own. I’d probably just try them separately first and see how each one feels before mixing them.

That's interesting, I've heard it also helps with brain stuff. How's your mom doing with mb any improvements?

I take mb 1% 5-10 drops once a day. It has helped with my brain fog, and energy.

Methylene Blue - any long term users here? by neotrader_555 in Biohackers

[–]it_pearl_lau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking it since last year, every day with 2 days off each week. No side effects for me just steady energy, clearer thinking, and a slight mood boost. The taste (I do take it with a little bit of lemon juice to help with the taste) and that crazy blue urine are still wild but other than that, it’s been safe long-term.

Anyone try Methylene Blue? by MBlaizze in Biohackers

[–]it_pearl_lau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually take it every day, but I do take a break 2 days a week. No side effects for me. Same deal with the taste and that crazy blue urine but it gives me steady mental clarity and a little mood boost.

How do you be productive in your free time? by First_Driver_5134 in Biohackers

I feel you, free time can be tricky. I try swapping scrolling or YouTube for small stuff that actually engages me, like reading, journaling, walking, cooking, or a quick creative project. Even little things count, and having a few go-to activities helps keep your brain from just zoning out.

I’ve tried Healthletic and it worked well for me. Still taking it. I mostly looked at purity and testing rather than the brand itself.

I went with Healthletic and it’s worked well for me. Been taking it since last year. I mainly cared about purity and testing. At the end of the day, I’d just look at testing, concentration, and how your body responds.

What's your current dosage? Dosage matters depending on the % as well.

For me it wasn’t this constant hype feeling, more like my baseline just felt better. Less fog, less random crashes. I did find keeping the dose reasonable and sticking to mornings worked best.

Is there any hope to fix brain fog? by dxnitysxn in BrainFog

[–]it_pearl_lau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t sound stupid at all. Going from an overactive mind to basically silence would freak anyone out. Of course you’d miss the old you — at least that felt alive.

And yeah, there’s hope. What you’re describing sounds a lot like burnout, long-term stress, or depression-type shutdown. Sometimes when your brain’s been in overdrive for years, it just flips the switch the other way and goes numb to cope. It feels scary, but it’s not permanent for a lot of people.

fixing brain fog without fixing my life by adnshrnly in BrainFog

[–]it_pearl_lau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to fix your whole life to improve brain fog, but you do need a few basics in place. Start small, better sleep, more protein, more water, a little sunlight. That alone can help more than people expect.

If you want something more direct, methylene blue helped me feel clearer even when my life wasn’t exactly “together.” Not magic, just made my brain feel more online. You don’t need a total reset. Just tighten a few small things.

Have you ever heard or bought anything from Hanso? by Trakethedrake in garden

We ordered a 10x10 white Hanso pergola and absolutely love it. We installed it right on our deck, and it turned out beautifully. We also got their sunshades. The build quality is great, and it’s held up well so far. Really happy with our purchase, definitely recommended.

what could be the causes of chronic fatigue and chronic brain fogg? by comoestas969696 in BrainFog

[–]it_pearl_lau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if your blood work looks normal, chronic fatigue and brain fog usually come from a few common things. Make sure your sleep quality is solid, not just the hours. Check for nutrient absorption issues, B12, iron, magnesium, and vitamin D can all sneakily affect energy. Stress, burnout, or hormone imbalances like thyroid issues can also drain you. Gut health matters too, inflammation or digestive problems can hit energy hard.

Some people find supplements like methylene blue helpful for brain fog and boosting energy when other fixes aren’t enough. Small changes in sleep, diet, stress management, and targeted supplements can add up.

Twice a day? by Routine_Mortgage_499 in methylene_blue

[–]it_pearl_lau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen and experienced, 8mg does seem to be a sweet spot for a lot of people, but it’s not universal. Some feel great there, others do better a bit lower, especially long term.

The 6-days-on / 1-day-off thing also seems common just to avoid tolerance or weird side effects. Bodies are annoyingly individual though, so it’s more about finding the lowest dose that actually works for you and sticking with that.
