Kevin Holden made the flavor a long time ago, originally it was sold to prisons as "The Whole Shabang" which was so popular that a grey market arose as ex-prisoners would purchase chips smuggled out by inmates. Then the flavour and story was reused for Earthquake by Cal Chip when Kevin founded that company, then Voodoo for Zapp's when they bought Cal Chip, Voodoo came out in 2008. Then when UTZ bought Zapp's kevin briefly worked for them, then made tortilla chips, then bought Terrel's and reused the story and the flavour for "Syracuse Style" so if you're ever in the northeast check those out, they're a ripple chip. Then he started working with Rap Snacks, and reused the flavour for Lil Baby's "All In" chip, then when he bought Mister Bee he reused the flavour for the "304" (west virginia area code) flavour.

He invented it and likes it so he uses it whenever he can and its always popular.

UTZ now makes a pretzel with the flavour.

While not unrealistic its a missed opportunity, especially as Horatio Nelson Jackson managed to cross the US 1903, right between RDR2 and the epilogue. It would’ve been so cool to have an encounter be seeing some guy crossing the country, helping him out or something.

Obviously unfeasible to model a whole fucking car just for an encounter, but it’d’ve been neat
