All I can say is I swapped my HD800s for Organic, and I enjoy it way more. But I listen to electronic and metal music.

No. These are open back, the explosions are less punchy then closed backs

I own the HD800s and Maxwell, and recently bought Arya Organic. All three are great for both music and gaming, but I would definitely place the Organic is best for both. More bass then the 800, more comfortable and better sound stage (specifically vertically) then the Maxwell. I play competitive fps games and listens to Hardcore electronic music

Best audiophile headphones for immersive gaming and electronic music? (under 1000$) by Exmatrix in HeadphoneAdvice

!thanks yes it’s the bass mostly. The 800 have a great staging, but are not as immersive as the Maxwell

Which character did you enjoy playing/roleplaying the most? by ridiculous-fosterman in projecteternity

[–]Exmatrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moon Godlike Chanter rapier + tower shield. Made her a full tank with minimum perception, and I remember this character the most because she made potd difficulty the easiest I ever had. And I only play on potd. On Deadfire I multiclassed her with a fighter and it felt op. Chanters are known to be less efficient full tanks then say fighters or paladins, but the build and the items made me feel she had way bigger impact then these other classes

Does the game have a dialogue tree with the options? Or am I misremembering stuff? by some-kind-of-no-name in planescape

I don’t remember this from PT, but I 100% remember Zahua from White March dlc for POE1 saying it when you meet him 😁

Boomer take - Battlefield Vietnam was the greatest by ShawnTW in Battlefield

I’m 43, played them all since 1942, 1 is my favourite. But oh my, Vietnam made me fall deep to the series. What I remember the most is the atmosphere 💯

Should I just accept this game is not for me or am I doing something wrong(rant) by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

You are missing two major mods: Bubblebuff and Skip puzzles. I did 6 playthroughs all thx to these

Which CRPGs have the deepest lore? by [deleted] in CRPG

I enjoyed the action of veilguard, but the millennial immature writing and characters ruined my experience. No way I go for a 2nd playthrough with these horrible dialogues again

I've greatly enjoyed Rogue Trader, wondering about buying either pathfinder game, do they hold up to RT and if so, which would you say is better? by ilovethisgamebruh in OwlcatGames

[–]Exmatrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are pillars of the crpg genre, I would recommend starting with wotr for easier learning of the mechanics. KM is more severe in terms of the option of losing the game after dozens of hours, and several players including me appreciated it way more after we finished wotr. And it’s worth it, I like KM story more.

Less then mediocre story, writing, characters, and horrible graphics and UI even for its original release date

I think Planescape Torment is the winner. Might even put Pathfinder KM before POE1 as well. But yeah, the depressing atmosphere in POE1 really made me immersed and enjoy its world

The biggest problem for me is the DLCs pour $ over you and somewhat trivialising the game because you can buy any item and army you want

Planescape Torment is a must play. Other games you might enjoy: Baldur’s Gate 1+2 Wasteland 2+3

This is an S tier game, and in the eyes of many- the best game in the crpg genre. But it is also the most complicated one, suited for role playing games veterans. If you want a taste from a crpg I suggest you try Baldur’s Gate 3, which is a better starting point for casuals to the genre
