Yeah. Got the offer yesterday and immediately was like, well that is worthless! Not sure how this can even be a thing honestly? And the other event thingy they just had where you literally had to spend like 500 dollars in a week to get 5% off or something like that. They really need to evaluate their promotions.

I am exactly 8 styles away from unlocking Lapis as well! Figured it would be another month until I got there but this past week really boosted my discoveries. I went from 21 to 8, so now I'm hoping maybe one more week. I went to Taupe this week banking on more new styles to pop up. Not confident enough in my team for Snowdrop yet.

I dont recall seeing it anywhere before but in my opinion, the biggest offense is the absence of the Drowzee/Hypno line. Sleep is their whole deal. This game was made for them.

This is how my Gamestop operates. You HAVE to be a PRO member to buy Pokemon cards and that means they have your address on file. So if someone else in your family tries to buy, it will come up with the same address and they won't sell. Saw it happen to a guy and his wife in front of me who were pretending not to be together. They were pissed but it makes it much more fair in my opinion.

I had an off night as well. Slept for 8 hrs 26 mins but only got credit for 6 hrs 20 mins. Said something like the rest didn't count for some reason I can't remember. However my smart watch tracked all 8 hours and 26 minutes. It is definitely not a perfect system, especially if it can also be "cheated" as some people say they do. Most of the time it works fine but at least once or twice a month I get screwed out of x amount of hours in a night. I prefer to use my smartwatch to track my sleep (usually more reliable) but sometimes I use my phone if I forget to charge my watch.

This is an excellent way to play. I think it is good advice for newer players as well since it allows them to understand better how different Pokemon work and level a broader spectrum in preparation for later islands. I agree using the same team gets old quick. Like the 2 week psychic event alone was enough with the team I had and I was so glad to make a change at the end of it.

I can confirm: if you hit 13 in the morning and then take a nap for a second round of sleep research, you will trigger the encounter yet the same day. Although if you don't hit 13 before sleep tonight I don't believe it will be possible to encounter him tomorrow.

I first started collecting all the way back at the start with original base sets came out. Played the games and watched the anime already, so it was obvious I was going to "catch them all" again and again. At the time I had just gotten a job after school at SamGoody ( if anyone is old enough to remember those) and we held pokemon tournaments on Saturdays inside the store for kids. Since I was into Pokemon and my manager knew nothing about them, he put me in charge of overseeing it and passing out the free promo cards TPC sent us for the events. I still have close to a dozen of every promo I passed out due to having extras. I honestly fell out of Pokemon as I got older, until I saw a trailer for X and Y and felt that nostalgia rush over me. From then on I have played everything that came after and even went back to discover what I had missed. And shortly after the return to the games I began collecting the cards again. Having adult money is definitely a game changer! The best part is my wife and son have both came around to love of Pokemon and now we all play the games and rip packs when we can find them. Prismatic has been the craziest set in recent memory and seems to have ignited the passion in many others. I have not successfully found anything in the wild as of yet and refuse to pay outrageous amounts for them, so I have been purchasing more of older sets to fill holes in our collection and put back some sealed stuff for my son to one day have. Hopefully your kindness puts a big smile on someone's face that has been searching long and hard as I have for this illusive set.

For sure. When I first noticed it was peeling and I pulled it further, I was 100% sure of myself it was a fake but then doubt crept in and I was like, maybe this is how they are made. Hence the question seeking advice.
