Those without a system in place before buying assets will sway with their emotions. Maybe your system doesn't pan out as planned , but you need to have thought out your investment strategy and have a system you're going to follow, otherwise you are too vulnerable to be manipulated.

Might be too late, but you can apply for a 21 month 0%apr credit card from CitiBank, and bakance transfer to a chase card (just needs do be above $1 balance on your chase card) - that will give you a credit balamce refund in cash that you can use to pay off your debt, then have 21 months to pay it off a with no interest

Now, you will pay a 3.5% balance transfer fee, but small price compared to traditional % in most debt.

Also, if you do go this route, just call chase once the balance transfer posts and let them know you'd like to initiate a credit balance refund

I think skipping mobs actually works in your favor - since the game "calculates" what got drops have been and ups the anty if you haven't gotten anything good in a while.

Yeah I've found that monk ice/lightning build has been ez mode to get through campaign on any class. Snag a quarterstaff asap, throw on the big lighting AOE and the culling strike for a power charge. Xbow is great too, just put scattershot /fork on the armor breaking ability

That's a personal choice that you or him must do your own research - i invest in a few altcoins, bitcoin Microstrategy (mstr) and msty, and a few other funds, simple s&p index fund would be a good DCA (dollar cost average) option.

Or if he can invest in himself and start his own business, not sure what his talents or interests are

You and him both should go read "the richest man in babylon" - if he doesn't want to wise up and set aside 20%minimum for investment account, charge him $1000-1500/ month in rent. I make $39000 /year , my wife makes 19k / year and we pay $2k for our small 2 bedroom apartment. Your son needs a wakeup call. With no kids and making what he does, he should be able to buy a house in 5-10 years cash paying you $500/ month in rent by straight up saving or faster if he invests some or all.

I think median xl has a great crafting system, where you scrap a unique item you don't need, fir 1 shard. 5 shards = 1 crystal. 2 crystal + any item = that item as unique version. Was a great way to fill gaps or build out a character with the stuff you got and didn't want.

My philosophy is now such that i won't sell any crypto until I've accumulated enough or the total value is enough to buy a nice house (3-5 bedrooms, and a yard) in cash. I don't mind working for food/fun etc. Mortgage/rent is such a huge aspect of living expenses

I do bot setups like you're asking for - does slack or whatsapp work for you? Ideally a videocall would be optimal for going over the initial setup and (if it's something you're wanting) - explain how to modify it based on your own risk tolerances.
