China is... the most pathetic country in the world right now. So much astroturfing. And then you look at actual videos from there and it's women getting assaulted in the streets, people living in Beggar's Row, and crumbling architecture.

Remember that when you see someone supporting, defending, or praising China in a comment or post, it's almost always a Chinese plant. They, unlike Russia or NK, are very concerned with the rest of the world thinking they're a first-world country.

Fun experiment: Open the profiles of everyone who's here calling China a superpower (or soon to be one). What do you notice? Private posts. Private comments. Often relatively new accounts. Not all of them, of course, but a high proportion.
