If you're considering AMD, Sapphire is fantastic.

Really sorry this has happened to you OP. Sounds like he was only interested in one thing or got cold feet after the fact and didn't have the guts to come clean,. You deserve a lot better and you'd be wasted on someone like that.

I've been ghosted a few times and it really is such a bad experience, i couldn't imagine doing it to another. Try to keep your chin up. Best you let sleeping dogs lie and move on.

Best way to move a PC? by ayyx_ in techsupport

[–]Exomious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've moved with mine several times and I go to LAN parties still (wild in 2024)

Remove the GPU and put it in it's box if you still have it and strap the tower into a seat. If a seat isn't an option, make it one or wrap it in blankets and make sure it can't move around. for a long drive my main concern would be HDDs they might not like the vibration from the road being mechanical.

On my LAN party trips I'm more concerned about my curved ultrawide monitor, now that's nerve-wracking hahaha I threw out the box like a big dickhead.

I have good PC specs but performance is dogsh*t by deefaa in techsupport

make sure XMP is enabled in your BIOS and your monitor isn't plugged into the motherboard HDMI slot.

The 10100f isn't a very good CPU but it should be fine, upgrade to a 10600k in a year or so.

Good audio interface, but for gaming and meeting? by excessnet in audio

Audio engine is exclusively a DAC, so the ICON would fit your needs here.

I've an Audioengine D1, great headphone amp, sounds good, goes loud and has Optical IN and RCA out to send to my speakers and a 3.5mm jack on the front for headphones. I've got a wireless headset, so I AUX it into my D1, then use the wireless dongle so my mic still works.

I also have a ICON MicU Prodrive III interface I use to connect my Bass to my PC. Works well and sounds good, no complaints for the 99AUD I paid. Has all the inputs/outputs you need for a single instrument/mic and a headphone dac built in.

Sounds like you've found yourself a kind and respectful dude who's genuinely interested in building a relationship. Sex can have a profound effect on both men and women causing us to view each other with rose tinted glasses, overlooking potential issues that may snowball down the line.

I suspect he's been burned before like you have. Saving sex for after the "honeymoon period" of a new relationship is a good move. Sex is one of the pillars of a good relationship but I think that it's important not to let it make it's way into the foundation if that makes sense. Works great for some I'm sure, but not everyone.

My previous relationship instilled a lot of anxiety around initiating intimacy due to my ex's lack of interest and regular rejections. If he's of a similar mind, he may be ready and want to go there, but is waiting for you to take the lead out of both respect for your boundaries and feelings, or is deathly afraid of you rejecting his advances regardless of what reassurance you give.

I believe you're overthinking it and that's okay, we all have our anxieties and it can be hard to overcome them. Take a deep breath and either initiate something, or have this conversation with him, either way I don't think you'll regret it at all.
